Description

This quiet little property is an organic rose, herb, and veggie farm in the heart of downtown Dixon. Dixon is a lovely organic artist /farm community with cafes, wineries, local market, library, thrift store, post office, churches, and a fire dept. This property is one of God's glorious little treasures. I work hard to keep it that way. We have been bringing this property back to life for 9 years & continue to put my heart & soul into this special quiet place with amazing views and sunsets. The space We have been renovating this property for 9 years. Its come and long way. every year the property gets greener and the individual apartments all get better with more bells and whistles and little luxury and comfort touches. There are 3 separare apartments on the property. All have separate entrances, lockable spaces and patio areas reserved for each space so all guests and tenants can enjoy the beautiful outside areas in peace and privacy. It is a working farm so the gardens are not pristine and manicured like Disney world. The gardens and orchards are all developed organically with Permaculture methodology. lots of little walkways, perches overlooking the valleys, places to bird watch or go sit by the babbling brook below have all been carefully built into the property. We are also walking distance to 2 wineries, the town market and cafe and Zulys restaurant is at the top of the driveway. Dixon is 30 minutes from Espanola, Taos, and Sipapu Ski Resort and about and hour from all the cool things and major ski resorts in New Mexico. Dixon is a great, sweet, little organic farm/artist town. Guest access You have full access to the courtyard and patio. The kitchen and main TV room is shared space but you will have it mostly to yourself. There are 3 separate apartments on the property and each space has a full kitchen, baths, and their own private entrances.. Its a quiet and sweet little spot. We have almost 2 acres so there is plenty of parking and private places to enjoy the scenery. Blackstone smoker grill and griddle is on the front porch. Its electric, start and temperature gage so it literally is just like and oven and stove with smoked flavoring. It makes amazing veggies and meats. During your stay I appreciate privacy and quiet. I work on this property full time and host interns, professionals, nurses so we all work hard and get up early. I am a world traveler and appreciate the folks that come through. Feel free to have a conversation or just keep to yourself. We are all working professionals and some days we are all just to tired to hold a conversation. Its all good. Please ask for anything you need. I keep this place VERY well stocked for comfort and ease. The closest major towns are 30 minutes away, but the Dixon Coop Market and Cafe has just about everything. I try to.stay well stocked so none of us have to run into town for something little. Other things to note Dixon is at 6000 feet and high desert. We dont get much snow since we are in the valley. The DOT usually treats the roads well and plow quickly when we need it. The gravel driveway enters on Hwy 75 which is a quiet road but qide shoulders to pull up.on if it's icy.
