Casa Torote: Pool, Fire-Pit, Ocean Views

Casa Torote is a beautiful ocean-views home with excellent location and fantastic amenities. Managed by Wanderways Homes and located a short distance from the beach, a fully stock supermarket, artisanal coffee shop, restaurants, bars and more. Enjoy breakfast with stunning views, relax, swim, snorkel, kite, go diving, paddle, bike, have a BBQ, and gather around the fire pit or heated pool. *Hot tub ONLY available during the colder season. The space PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: Casa Torote includes a two-stories main house with 2 bedrooms and a small guest house with 1 bedroom. In addition to the queen-size beds in each bedroom, each house has a sofa bed. This will allow to sleep 6 people in beds and up to 2-4 additional people in sofa beds. The main house is modern, spacious, tastefully appointed and well equipped. It has high ceilings with many windows to enjoy the views. The main floor features an open kitchen / living room area with a half bathroom for guests. The guest bedroom is on the main floor. The living room has a convertible bed that can comfortably fit 2 kids or 1 adult. The main bedroom is on the second floor and is only accessible via the outdoor stairs. Guests who stay in the upstairs bedroom will wake up to a breathtaking sunrise over the ocean from your bed! The casita is an apartment studio concept with a spacious feel that includes a small front deck, living room, kitchen with a dual-purpose center island (cooking and dining), a bedroom, closet, and full bathroom (no tub). The common areas include a beautiful palapa-covered grill & bar, a heated pool (4-ft deep), a fire pit in the 2nd floor deck, and a hot tub *ONLY available during mid-November to mid-March. The palapa is a great area to socialize and have BBQs as it counts with lots of counter space, a large charcoal grill, a half bathroom, a changing room, an outdoor shower, and a drying lines rack for your wetsuits and gear. *Hot tub can be available during the warmer months per request (April - mid-November), with an extra fee. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: Kiters & Wing foilers: There are two beaches only 5 and 10 minutes away (walking). You can launch or land your kite or wing in either, but note that the first beach exit is between two rocky tips, so if you are foiling, it would only be recommended for those that are very proficient with their water starts. Noise at night: Although the town is usually "sleepy" by 9 pm, be aware that occasionally people drive around proud of their music. It is part of their culture, so we can only say welcome to Baja, Mexico! But don't worry, you'll get used to it. But if you are sensitive to noise at night, a couple of earplugs will take care of it. Unplanned changes: We highly encourage our guests to get third party travel insurance that covers cancellation due to illness. We have a strict cancellation policy with no refunds within 60 days of travel. Guest access Our guests have access to every space in the house except for a couple of storage units that keep machines and house supplies. Other things to note Hot Tub: Only available seasonally, between mid-November and mid-March. Kiters: There are two beaches only 5 and 10 minutes away (walking). The first is ideal for intermediate and advanced kiters, as the bluff makes a small wind shadow. The second beach, just 120 meters south, has a wider sandy beach and totally friendly for beginners. Several kiteboarding schools take their students to start a down-winder from that beach. Beach lovers who are not kiters: The nearby beaches are beautiful and private and excellent for walks! Just note that the sand is a bit thicker than the sand in South Beach. At night: Although the town is usually "sleepy" at 9 pm, occasionally, people drive around proud of their music.
