Red little charming cottage on Östgötaslätten

Close to picturesque Vadstena in the middle of the plain, you will find our simple but unique cottage overlooking open fields. Here you can burn in the open fireplace, experience magical sunsets or fall asleep into the starry sky directly from the sleeping loft. In the area around Vättern there are many nice beaches, nature areas, farm shops, flea markets and attractions. Here you come to breathe, fire, look up to the sky and feel like you live a little more. The space Close to picturesque Vadstena, you will find our simple but cozy cottage overlooking open fields. Here we have converted a run-down cottage into a unique home with a small sleeping loft with a large bed (180). From the loft you have a view of the fields and can look at deer, foxes and cranes or why not fall asleep to the starry sky. In the large room there is a fireplace where you are welcome to burn. On the lower floor there is a small "bedroom", a kitchen and a bathroom with toilet/ sink. On the property, during summertime, there is a solar heated outdoor shower. On the large plot, there is outdoor furniture, barbecue, hammock, soccer goal, toys and games to borrow. The cottage is ideally located for those who want to explore the area. By car, it takes five minutes into Vadstena located by the beach of Vättern with cozy shops, restaurants and cafes as well as several historical sights. For those who want to swim, there are several possibilities, including the Nordic region's largest lake bath Varamon about 15 minutes from the cottage. For those who want to get out into nature, there is, among other things, Omberg and also the bird lake Tåkern close by. There are also cozy flea markets and farm shops selling local produce nearby. The sunsets in the area are magical and nearby there are a couple of summerland to visit. The cottage is mainly adapted for two people but there is one double bed and one sofa bed. In the sleeping loft there is a double bed and downstairs a sofa bed. To get to the loft, you have to climb a ladder and it is very low ceilings in the sleeping loft so you can't stand upright. Please note that there is no railing in the loft so the cottage is not optimal for small children. The cottage is simple but with a high charm factor. Some things can be perceived as primitive, such as when you get to crawl to the bed in the loft or go out to the solar heated shower where there is not always hot water. The bed in the loft is a Japanese bed with a futon mattress that can be experienced as hard. We like it though! The water in the cabin is serviceable but we usually bring our own water or buy it in the store. It also happens that the hot water runs out as the heater is not the largest. Guest access All guests have full access to the entire cottage which is about 40 sqm in size with the loft. On the associated plot there is the possibility of, for example, soccer and other sports activities. Other things to note The cottage is mainly adapted for two people. In the loft is a low king size bed (180) in japandi style. To get to the loft, you have to climb a ladder and it is very low ceilings so you can not stand upright. The bed can be perceived as hard as there is only a futon mattress. On the lower floor, there is a sofa bed (Hemnes from IKEA) with room for one to two people. Otherwise, follow information that is available at the house. Bed linen, towels and final cleaning is included in the price. However, we are grateful for if you vacuum and leave in good condition. Parking is at the entrance of the grass. Please note that the cottage is simple but with a high charm factor. The water in the cabin is useful but we usually bring our own drinking water. It also happens that the hot water runs out as the heater is not the largest. In summer, there can periodically be a lot of flies around the fields. The cottage is located on a road with some traffic. Please note that there is no railing in the loft and therefore it is not suitable for smaller children.
