The kitchen includes an eat-in kitchen space featuring a round table with vintage Bentwood chairs, perfect for casual meals or morning coffee. The property is air-conditioned in the main bedroom (Queen) and central lounge space has capacity to air condition adjoining rooms via the bedroom doors. The lounge includes a ceiling fan, and all bedrooms also have pedestal fans. Further you can take advantage of the fresh air as all bedroom windows ensure cool breezes through the house. There are plantation shutters in three rooms and block-out blinds in the fourth for restful sleep. Outdoor Features include; - A leafy garden filled with citrus trees fruiting most of the year. Feel free to pick citrus during your stay keeping in mind other future guests may also want to sample the harvest. - hills hoist clothes line for quick drying of clothes - Laundry facilities are under the house with a washing machine for your convenience. - A garden maintenance company looks after the property and may be onsite during your stay. Prime location within easy walking distance to Ipswich Boys Grammar, St. Edmunds College, St. Mary’s College, and Blair State School. Just a short stroll to the vibrant Top of Town restaurant, bar, and café scene, offering a variety of dining and entertainment options. Please be aware rooms are made up based on the guest numbers in your booking. Ie if it’s a couple booking we will make up the main (queen) room. Other things to note The house has stairs at both the front (see external images section) and rear entrances and may not be suitable for guests with mobility limitations. This is a renovated Queenslander with original features, quirks, and plenty of character. The home is intentionally styled with vintage furniture and antique pieces. If you are seeking a sleek, modern, hotel style interior, this property may not be the right fit. Starter supplies are provided for your arrival, including tea, coffee, laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets, garbage bags, and toilet paper. For longer stays, guests are expected to purchase additional supplies as needed.
