Sleeping four in one kingsize and one twin/superking room, Timmerin is the ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle of life. A recently renovated property, Timmerin retains some gorgeous original features, combined with modern comforts. Come, relax, and make yourselves at home. The space Set over two levels, Timmerin is a self-contained upper flat in a traditional block of four. The flat is recently renovated but retains some delightful period features, such as the wooden flooring and original doors. Timmerin is a pet-free property and has no feather bedding, making it particularly suitable for those with allergies. Gardenstown, or Gamrie as it’s known, is a small, picturesque fishing village nestled in by the sea on the North Aberdeenshire coast. The Wee Shoppie on Main Street will provide all your essentials, and we recommend The Garden Arms for a warm welcome, a drink or a meal and Bumble and Brae cafe for delicious treats. Nothing is more than five minutes walk from Timmerin! We provide much more local information in our guest folder in the property. Arriving at Timmerin, the front door opens into a light and bright kitchen, with a vaulted roof and wooden beams. The kitchen is well equipped, with a fridge, freezer, electric oven and hob, air fryer, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. The hallway leads to the open and airy living room, featuring a large bay window with a cushioned window seat. Looking out over the harbour, with panoramic views of Gamrie Bay beyond, this is arguably the best view in Gardenstown, known locally as Gamrie. The living space has abundant comfortable seating, a Bluetooth speaker, and a separate dining area with a table and seating for four. With the wonderful view to entertain you, we haven't provided a television, but there is Wi-Fi available. The stove is a decorative feature and not for use. However, the lovely Faith acoustic guitar is both decorative and for use! The first bedroom leads off the living space. Featuring a kingsize bed, the room is carpeted and has hanging space, drawers, blackout curtains, a hairdryer and straighteners. The soft lighting and comfortable bedding creates a cosy and relaxing atmosphere. Upstairs, a second bedroom nestles in the eaves. There are stunning sea views from the velux window. This bedroom can be set up as a twin room or as a superking - just let us know your preference. The bedroom is carpeted, with hanging space, drawers, and ambient lighting. The bathroom has an electric shower over a small bath, a WC and washbasin. Parking is at the front of the property on the street, which is accessed by stairs to the side of the building. Do not park at the back of the building, this land is privately owned by our neighbours. Full details will be provided shortly before check in. Guest access The whole property is yours to enjoy! Other things to note Due to the quirky nature of this property and lack of baby proofing, we don't consider Timmerin to be suitable for infants on the move under the age of two. Gamrie is a historic fishing village, with steep hills and uneven ground. Timmerin can only be accessed via stairs, so those with mobility issues should take this into consideration.
