Üügumetsa tree house

A private, experiential stop in the beautiful nature of the island with a sauna that will be completed in April 2025. Here you can enjoy the pine-juniper forest and birdsong. Within walking distance is Üügu bank with enchanting views of the sea, caves and a holy eye spring. In May-June, the coastal area is covered with colorful flower carpets. In summer, the island is a real paradise for gourmets. The north coast has the best swimming spots on the island. You are welcome to enjoy the beauty we have created with special care. The space The bedroom is located at the same height as the pine tree tops. The glass wall, which is located on the north side, gives a special spaciousness to nature. When you stand up, you can see the sea line over the treetops. On clear nights you can admire the glow of the starry sky, the colorful glow of the sunrise at dawn. There are sleeping places for four people in the room if needed. In addition to the bed, you can make space for mattresses for two people. The floor is natural, made of a wide island board. The room has two velvet comfortable bag chairs and a table. The ceiling of the room is high, which gives extra space in a small room. The light is dimmable, which creates coziness. There is a heating panel on the wall of the room to use on cooler days. The house retains heat well because it is insulated. With summer heat, the surrounding forest protects the house with valuable shade. There's a mosquito net in front of the door. Under the bedroom there is a kitchen with everything you need to cook. In addition to the sink and fridge, there is a gas grill for cooking. The terrace has a table, an armchair and a sofa. Upstairs on the balcony there is also a table and two comfortable chairs where you can enjoy spacious views and bird song. Separate from the house, there is a modern dry toilet and a shower room with hot water between the junipers. Both rooms are facing the forest and are pleasantly spacious. In April 2025, an elegant and fresh outdoor spa will be completed among the junipers of the forest - a sauna house with a steam room that our guests can heat themselves. The coastal area and Üügu bank with ancient eye springs and caves are within a 1 km walk. This is the most powerful area of the island, where you can admire the enchanting views.
