Turn-of-the-century villa by Lake Mälaren, private dock, beach.

Are you a group looking for a rural accommodation by Lake Mälaren, which has a private beach and large areas with all the amenities available? Villa Gurli was built in 1912 and has undergone an extensive renovation in the last year to regain its former glory. With a private jetty/marina, it is also possible to get here by boat. The accommodation is about 1 hour by car from Stockholm on beautiful Selaön, with proximity to both nature and rich wildlife. About 15 minutes away are both Strängnäs and Mariefred. The space The beach and jetty are private and are used by the guests who are currently renting the house. There is also a large terrace with lake views that is only used by our guests. On the terrace, there is a large barbecue area with associated utensils. There is also a smaller pizza oven (on request). The guest is responsible for cleaning the pizza oven and the grill after use. NOTE:❗️❗️It is only allowed to use charcoal or briquettes for grilling! Fire with wood is NOT allowed as there is a major fire risk.❗️❗️ Damage that occurs to the property or damage to what belongs to the property (furniture, fixed installations, wallpaper, appliances, etc.) the guest may be responsible for to the extent deemed reasonable. Guest access Terrace, jetty, beach, green areas, house. woodshed (wood) workshop beach house and hen house are private and the guest does not have access. Other things to note Villa Gurli is our beautiful farmhouse on this small family owned farm where we are right now three generations housing. The house is unoccupied when not rented out. The deck dock and beach are designated for our guests only and are not used by the permanent residents nearby. The house has only 3-4 parking spaces on the front of the house, one of which has a charger for electric cars. Private parking space for permanent residents is a bit away from the house. Where there are also permanent residents. 🔴 It is not allowed to invite more guests to stay overnight in the house without the host's consent. If desired or requested for more than the maximum number of guests (10), an additional fee of SEK 300-550 per guest/night will be added. The price depends on the booking price or if this is during high or low season. Only for bookings of more than one night. Please note that we will not take more than max 12 guests . We only do this under special circumstances. This is due to safety reasons, fire risk and that all insurance policies should apply if the accident should occur. Thus, the world has no obligation to accept more than 10 guest at a time. In high season or overlapping guest change, no more than 10 guest will be approved. It is also not allowed to exceed the maximum of the guest number, i.e. a maximum of 10 guests without the host's consent . Please note that children under 3 years old are not covered. If you want to add more guests after your reservation is made, you can send a request that must be approved by the host. Daytime guests are allowed to be invited as long as the number of adults does not exceed the allowed number of 10 (12) people. If requested regarding, for example, separate beds or other questions regarding the property, please contact the host well in advance so we have the opportunity to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There is no possibility of 10 separate beds as our beds consist of mostly double beds. Maximum number of guests who could wish for separate beds are seven. This means that only seven guests can stay in the house during that stay. During a regular stay with 10 number of guests, four may have the option of separate bedrooms/sleeping space We will do our utmost to make you feel comfortable with us and try to meet your wishes to the fullest extent possible. It is not allowed to park more than four vehicles on the property and only allowed to use the four specified parking spaces. It is therefore not allowed to park on lawns or other green areas as damage may occur. If you wish for earlier check-in or later check-out, an additional fee may apply. If a checkout occurs, there is no way to arrive earlier. If the desire for later checkout affects the ability for the host to bring in a new reservation on that day, there is an additional fee of SEK 950-1100 due to the loss of booking. The price picture is dependent on the booking price or if it is high or low season. Guests will then have the option to leave the property when they wish during the day of checkout.
