Cottage on an Ayrshire Farm

Recently renovated bungalow on a working farm near Gatehead Village in Ayrshire. It sleeps 4 people over 2 bedrooms. One with a King sized bed and en-suite and the other a twin room with two 'small double' beds. The cottage is a 500m walk to the fantastic Cochrane restaurant and bar where you will not be disappointed by the local sourced menu. We are a busy working farm here at New Bogside and tours are available. Dogs welcome but additional fees apply. The space Recently refurbished to a very high standard, this rural cottage has 2 bedrooms (One en-suite), lounge area, large family kitchen and a secure rear yard. It has tiled flooring throughout, triple glazed windows and a brand new central heating system. Bedroom 1 - King Size bed with luxury Emma mattress and a full en-suite including walk in shower. Bedroom 2 - Two small double beds with luxury Emma mattresses. Kitchen - Modern farmhouse style kitchen with Belfast sink, integrated dishwasher, a washer / dryer and a fridge freezer. The centre piece is a large 5 hob, double over Rangemaster cooker and of course there is a large dining table with plenty of room for all guests. Lounge - The lounge area is south facing and catches the sun (when it makes an appearance). It has 2 two seater couches and a tv. The wifi router is also located here. Outdoor Space - There is a fully enclosed outdoor space to the rear of the property. This area is clean and has a tarmac surface so is a great space for letting your dog have a run without worrying about them escaping. Our plan is to add a hot tub here in future. Local amenities - The Cochrane Bar and Restaurant is a 5 minute walk from the cottage and has fantastic menu full of local produce. Golf galore. We are only a 15 minute drive to Royal Troon golf course and the many other courses surrounding it. The beaches of Barassie, Irvine, Troon and Ayr are all just a short drive from the cottage. Shopping. We have a good selection of popular stores and supermarkets in Kilmarnock which is just a couple of miles from the cottage.
