Two-room apartment Adela in the heart of the city is the perfect base for discovering the charm of Slovakia’s wine capital – Modra. Whether you're here for a wedding or a wine-filled weekend, the romantic bedroom with a king-size bed, blackout curtains, and a balcony promises restful nights. A vanity desk offers comfort for getting ready or working remotely. And don’t forget the stylish attic living room – perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine from Modra. The space Vila Horná is a family-run space located in the historic center of the wine town of Modra. It offers two charming city apartments – Adela and Ľudovít – perfect bases for discovering the beauty of our town. For special occasions, we also open a third apartment – our private home. Spacious, stylish, and fully equipped, it’s a cozy retreat we occasionally share with guests during our absence. Apartment Adela is a romantic two-room apartment ideal for 2 to 4 guests. It’s designed for wedding guests, brides, wine lovers, or anyone looking for a peaceful place to work remotely and enjoy Modra. The entrance to Vila is directly from the street that winds through the historic center. You’ll be welcomed by a shared entry hall with cozy seating – a great spot to relax after your journey or while waiting to head into town for coffee. A bright staircase leads to the entrance of Apartment Adela (next door to its "friend," Apartment Ľudovít). In the hallway, you'll find plenty of space to hang your coats and a mirror for last-minute touch-ups. A chest with extra pillows is available for your added comfort. The spacious attic living room is perfect for spending time together – enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of local Modra wine. There’s a sofa bed for extra guests and a comfy armchair that even Ľudovít Štúr would approve of. You’ll also find books about Modra and a well-equipped kitchenette with a coffee station. In the evening, relax in the romantic bedroom with a king-size bed and blackout curtains. The large vanity desk is great for getting ready in the morning or for remote work – and of course, you’ll have fast Wi-Fi. Apartment Adela is a treat for body and soul – the bathroom has a shower and includes thoughtful essentials in case you’ve forgotten something in your toiletry bag. Guest access The entrance to the villa is from the main street, and the entry hall with staircase is shared. All rooms within the apartment, including your private bathroom, are for your exclusive use. We operate with self-check-in, so you can arrive anytime after 2:00 PM (including later in the evening). The keys will be waiting in a lockbox at the well-lit villa entrance. Before your arrival, we’ll send you all the important check-in and stay information, including the lockbox code. Other things to note Upon arrival, you’ll need to fill in guest registration details and pay a local accommodation tax of €1 per person per night, in accordance with city regulations (cash payment at check-in). In the apartment, you'll find a selection of local wine and souvenirs available for purchase. Prices are listed, and payment can be left in cash on the table.
