Rustic country house renovated in 2024 in the original vintage spirit, classified 2-star Gîte de France, in a pretty little village in the heart of the Forez mountains. 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and toilet each, living room with wood stove and access to large terrace, wooded garden. Calm, space, snow in winter and not too hot in summer, a nice view of Mount Sancy and the forest, perfect for enjoying the fresh air with family or friends. The space LISTING DESCRIPTION The house is arranged on 2 levels of 85m2 each . Living space is upstairs. Includes: 1 living room and 1 fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms with shower and toilet for each . The sleeping area consists of 4 bedrooms: 1 bedroom with a king size bed (180 cm) , 1 bedroom with a queen size bed (160 cm). 1 bedroom with a trundle bed (2x 90 cm), 1 bedroom with 1 bunk bed (2x90 cm). available cot on request. In the living room, dining area for 8 guests, a sofa ( convertible into a 140cm bed). A veranda to the south brings light and natural warmth, pleasant when the days are cool. A wood burning stove brings a pleasant warmth to the living room. A protective barrier is available for the little ones. Accessible from the living room, a very large terrace with dining area and garden furniture and nice view . Fully equipped kitchen: dishwasher, filter and piston coffee machine, raclette machine and Savoyard fondue to enjoy the mountain spirit, air-frier, robot, cold-door oven. INCLUDED SERVICES and OPTIONS Optional: Linens, sheets and towels are available for €20 per person per stay. Hot tub is possible for €80. Please confirm your choice when booking or at least 1 week prior to your arrival . Starting January 2026, the end of stay cleaning is included in the price. ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE IN THE HOUSE foosball and ping pong (sources of many intergenerational competitions;) make a fire: wood stove in the living room and BBQ in the garden, wood and fire starter provided. Sundance Luxury Spa Optional 6 Seater - Autumn 2025 New Board games, comics and books, children's games, a TV only connected to a dvd player and some youth movies (Disney type) in July and August, a small above ground pool (3.8m diameter, 1m high ) is installed in the garden with secure access. HOW TO ENJOY THE SURROUNDING AREA a few suggestions per season On the sunny days ☀️ Walk or hike, road bike (the ascent of the Col du Beal , scheduled for the Tour de France passes in front of the house). Many mountain biking tours marked and classified by difficulty. Swimming and beach at Lac d 'Aubusson (10kms). During the winter months ❄️ 2 sleds are available, to slide into the gently sloping fields next to the house. Chalmazel ski resort 20km away with its ski lifts and Nordic ski areas. And on the Col du Beal , sleds, snowshoes and snow kite and not to mention a mulled wine accompanied by a blueberry pie, the local specialty)) Guest access Last house in the village of Le Brugeron, on the road to the Col du Beal. Arrival by car, 1.5 hours from Lyon via the A89 or 40 minutes from Clermont Ferrand. Self check in with lockbox. Parking is available for 3 cars on the plot. Small shop and bakery in the village. Supermarket in Noirétable, Courpière and Ambert From November to April, plan for snow equipment: suitable tires or chains. Access to the house from the road is practically cleared by the snowplow. Other things to note FOR YOUR SAFETY The living space of the house is on the first floor - this house is not suitable for people with limited mobility due to the presence of the staircase. For the safety of the little ones, barriers are available. But because of the presence of a staircase, a wood-burning stove, and a raised terrace, do not leave your children unattended.
