The house features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a modern kitchen and a cozy living room with a fireplace. Relax on the terrace, complete with a barbecue, sauna, and hot tub. The area offers excellent opportunities for hiking, with walking trails and nature paths close to the house. Explore winding forest trails, paddle a kayak along the coastline, or simply enjoy the fresh sea air throughout the year. After a day of adventure, unwind in the wood-fired hot tub on the terrace overlooking the sea, or relax in the warmth of the sauna. Just a short walk away, you'll also find a sheltered picnic area with stunning views of the sea and surrounding landscape – the perfect spot for coffee, sunset watching, or a barbecue when fire conditions allow. By the shoreline, you can also enjoy our wood-fired sauna raft, located close to both a jetty and swimming area, offering a truly authentic Bohuslän experience. We kindly ask our guests to use firewood and water responsibly so that together we can conserve the farm’s resources and help protect the environment. 🌿 Guest access When booking this house you have exclusive access to the entire house, the wraparound deck surrounding the house, and the lawn. You are also warmly welcome to enjoy our beach, pier, kayaks, and floating sauna, which are shared with guests staying in the other houses on the property. Adjacent to the property is a charming tiny house, "Hytten Lodge," which is rented separately. The houses have their own entrances, outdoor seating areas, and parking spaces. Privacy screens and greenery between the properties ensure there is no direct view between the houses, allowing both parties to enjoy a peaceful and private stay. For your convenience, firewood and water for the hot tub, floating sauna, and fireplace are included as described below. If you would like additional firewood, water refills, or heating, these can be purchased as optional extras. We kindly ask all guests to use firewood and water thoughtfully so that together we can conserve the property's resources and care for the environment. 🌿 We would also like to make you aware that during periods of elevated fire risk, restrictions or bans may apply to the use of the wood-fired hot tub, wood-fired sauna, and outdoor grilling at the shelter. We follow all regulations and recommendations issued by the authorities and will inform you if any instructions, restrictions, or fire bans are in effect during your stay. Included in your stay: • One water fill • Heating on Day 1 • Reheating on Day 2 Optional extras: • Additional water fill, including firewood for heating and reheating if needed: SEK 400 per occasion Electric Sauna Next to the House (Guests staying in Hytten Lodge may also book this sauna) The electric sauna offers an authentic and relaxing sauna experience. Located between Svarta Huset and Hytten Lodge, the sauna is shared between guests. Reservations can easily be made by signing up on the booking list posted at the sauna. Included in your stay: • Use of electric sauna up to 4 hours Optional extras: • Additional sauna time: SEK 100 per hour Floating Sauna by the Beach Located by the shoreline, our popular wood-fired floating sauna offers direct access to both the pier and the swimming area. The sauna can be reserved by adding your name to the booking schedule posted on the sauna. Included in your stay: • Use of the sauna , including wood for heating • Up to 4 hours of use (2 hours per reservation) Optional extras: • Additional heating and use: SEK 200 per occasion Fireplace The house features a wood-burning fireplace, creating a cozy atmosphere during the colder months of the year. *The fireplace should not be used during the summer season. In wintertime it gets dark early and if you for example is down at the beach using the sauna you would need a flashlight to find your way home. -A camera and binoculars. There is a good chance you see animals like deer, fox, eagle, seals, heron and elk.
