Chy Benyngoth Cottage, Angarrack

Chybenyngoth is a beautiful single storey cottage in the heart of the village of Angarrack - home to the beautiful, historic Brunel viaduct - approx. 1 mile from Hayle and its 3 miles of golden sands. This 2 bedroom detached home is perfect for a couple or small family wanting a break in the Cornish countryside or a spot of surfing nearby at glorious Gwithian beach or beyond. The cottage is a quiet place to stay, in walking distance of the local pub! Good for remote working or pure relaxation. The space The cottage was built 7 years ago and is beautifully decorated with modern, contemporary touches. There is electric radiator heating and a wood burning stove with fire guard if needed. The property is accessed via a private drive shared with the owners, where there is room for one medium size car. Extra parking is available if needed, just let us know. There is a beautiful garden at the entry to the property. This area has a lawn and an outdoor relaxing area with a table, sofa and two chairs. Entering the house from the front garden steps, you come into a bright and airy hall, and through to the lounge. French sliding doors lead onto a tranquil outside space, where you can enjoy a cold drink or meal under the stars. There is an outdoor dining table and six chairs with cushions. If you prefer to be inside, sit back and watch TV or play some board games provided in front of the wood burning stove for those cosy nights in. There is a well equipped kitchen which is fitted with all amenities including range cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, cooker and storage cupboards. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided, as are essentials such as salt/pepper, oil, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and dishcloths and tea towels. There is lots of crockery and glasses, as well as cookware and pots/pans. There is an open plan living/dining room/ kitchen with dining table, bench and 2 chairs, a three-seater sofa and two chairs. There is a smart TV with freeview channels and wifi. You are welcome to use your own Netflix account (remember to sign out!) . There is a large storage cupboard in the hall for coats etc. It also contains the washing machine, pegs, drying airer, hoover, fireguard, iron and ironing board. Continuing through the hall there is a contemporary bathroom with walk in shower, heated towel rail and loads of cupboards. Bed linen, towels and beach towels are provided. There are two bedrooms. The master bedroom is a bright room with a view over the garden. There is a king size bed, wardrobe with hangers, bedside tables and chest of drawers. The other bedroom is a twin room with two single beds, bedside table and chest of drawers. Around the property you will find some great local artwork and interesting reading about the local area. There are two large outside spaces, for drying your washing, sitting, eating or entertaining. Guest access Guests have sole unrestricted access to the entire property during their stay. Early drop off of luggage is available on request. Other things to note We do not allow EV charging at the cottage, unless by prior agreement. The closest place is Shell Hayle. Additional costs will be charged for pre arranged vehicle charging - please contact us if you need this. The lane down to the house is a single track road. It is narrow but perfectly big enough for a large family car or van. In the winter months we will supply a small basket of essentials to light the fire. You are welcome to bring more of your own from home or you can buy extras in the petrol stations locally.
