Welcome to Spruce Cliff Beach House in Cape Tormentine, New Brunswick, where the ocean is your very own backyard! Our tranquil and private ocean front getaway is the perfect spot for relaxing with friends and family, or for discovering the natural beauty of New Brunswick, all within the comfort of a modern and comfy cottage. The space Please note: Summer 2026 rentals require a minimum 6 night stay. 🏡 Inside the Cottage Spruce Cliff Beach House offers an open plan main floor. ⏲️ The gourmet, fully equipped kitchen offers guests a double oven, stove top, fridge with ice maker, dishwasher, drip coffee maker, and Keurig coffee machine. We also provide various kitchen appliances such as a Kitchenaid stand mixer, hand mixer, rice cooker, blender, and toaster. 🍴The dining room seats up to eight, and guests have access to a full complement of dishes, glassware, flatware, and serving pieces. 📺 The cozy living room has a WETT certified wood burning stove, throw blankets, and an oversized sectional that's perfect for streaming movies on our 58” 4K UHD LED TV. 🛌 Four main floor bedrooms are separated from the living area by a French door for added privacy. 🚿 Guests have access to two bathrooms. One is on the main floor and features a large soaker tub with a sitting shower. The second bathroom has a standalone shower and plenty of storage space. ☕️ The screened porch, overlooking the ocean and expansive lawn, is the perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee, seaside meals, or to spend a relaxing evening with a book, board games, cards, or puzzles. Please note, this room is not heated. 🩱🩳The mud room offers a smart transition from ocean to indoors where you can towel off sandy feet, hang wet bathing suits, and store beach chairs and toys. 🧘🏼 💻 🍹🌅 Upstairs, a second living area in the loft makes a peaceful retreat for morning yoga, remote work, or sunset cocktails with panoramic views of the Northumberland Strait. 🧺 In the basement you will find a washer, dryer, utility sink, ironing board, and drying rack. There’s also an outdoor clothesline if you’d like to dry your clothing in the fresh ocean breeze. 🧴 Amenities Provided For Your Stay: •. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap •. One set of bath, hand, and face towels per guest •. Bedding, including pillows and blankets • Kitchen linens • Cleaning products (for basic maintenance if desired) • Dish washer detergent pods • Laundry detergent sheets • Dryer sheets • Toilet paper, facial tissue, and one roll of paper towel • Basic spices, cooking oil, and sugar • Coffee filters (please bring your own medium grind coffee or Keurig pods) • Assortment of teas 🌊 The Ocean is Yours The Northumberland Strait boasts the warmest ocean water temperatures in Canada, with two daily tides, approximately six hours apart, creating ever-changing scenery. This means that when the tide is out you can swim, play on the beach, explore sandbars and marine life, or go for walks on the ocean floor. Of course, the ocean is always accessible for swimming in deep water or for using your own watercraft. The beach below the cottage is secluded and quiet, often with no one else in sight. Please note: there is no direct beach access from the cottage between November and April. 🏖️ On days when low tide does not coincide with your schedule, you can always access the public beach (year round) that is approximately 1.5 kilometres from the cottage. 🔥 Outdoor Amenities: • One beach towel per guest • Lawn and deck furniture • Propane BBQ (available mid-May to early October) • Beach chairs • Sand toys • Water noodles • Tote bag for carrying belongings to the beach • Outdoor fire pit overlooking the ocean • Wood for the outdoor fire pit (kindling can be purchased locally) • Croquet set Guest access Inside, you will have full and private access to the entire main floor, the second storey washroom and living area, and the basement laundry room. Outside, you will have full and private access to the lawn, gardens, clothesline, and the private staircase to the beach. Other things to note 📝 We are very excited to share our family cottage with you! To ensure you have a happy and comfortable vacation at our place, we ask that you please read through the descriptions, amenities, guest safety, and house rules before booking. If you still have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. • Our cottage can accommodate up to 8 people maximum (with or without children). • If booking with children or single adults, please note the bedroom configurations. • Please include the names of all guests at time of booking. • No parties or excessive noise is allowed at any time. • This is a 100% SMOKE-FREE HOME. Absolutely no smoking (of any substance) or vaping is permitted. If you choose to smoke outside, please dispose of your items responsibly to avoid the risk of fire. • Fireworks are NOT permitted at any time. It is a wildfire hazard with so many tall grasses and trees in close proximity to the cottage, plus the noise is very unsettling to the wildlife that live around us. • Please do not dispose of cooking oil or grease in the sinks or toilets as it will clog and damage the septic system. • Please do not dispose of feminine hygiene products or disposable wipes in the toilets - even if they are labelled as flushable - as they too will damage the septic system. • If using the indoor wood stove, please do not leave a fire unattended, and always make sure the fire is fully extinguished when you’re done using it. • We are unable to provide watercraft, but you are more than welcome to bring your own.
