From the moment you step into our retro 1972 cedar cabin, you’ll feel like you’ve walked into a country retreat—or maybe even a cozy little church. Aaah… the cabin life. Sleep in, eat when you want, play games, swim, cycle, canoe, wander town, binge on movies and popcorn, or just enjoy great company. ⚠️ Our cabin isn’t suitable for toddlers. The space We’ve preserved the warm charm of the cedar and wood-paneled interior while adding modern comforts, including sleek, touch-sensitive recliners (chair, loveseat, and 3-seater) for ultimate relaxation. Settle in and enjoy our big-screen TV with a collection of over 200 movies (CDs), surrounded by tastefully chosen antiques and retro furniture. ⚠️ Please note: There’s a steep, open staircase and wide openings between the upstairs railings, which may pose safety concerns for little ones. Our cabin is not wheelchair accessible. There are several steps up to the entrance and an indoor staircase leading to the upper-level bedrooms. Disconnect to Reconnect There’s NO INTERNET—on purpose! But don’t worry, cell data coverage is strong if needed. This is your chance to unplug and truly get away. Instead of scrolling, enjoy our collection of board games, puzzles, outdoor games, and explore with three adult-sized bikes or a 17’ aluminum canoe (life jackets provided). Prime Location & Stunning Sunsets We’re just ½ block from the lake, and you can see the water from our front deck. Take a quick stroll for a swim, paddle, or lakeside picnic. And the sunsets? They are GORGEOUS! Sit back, relax, and watch the sky light up in breathtaking colours most every evening. Rest Well • 3 bedrooms: • Upstairs: Two comfy Queen beds • Main floor: Full & Twin bunk bed • All bedrooms have blinds & curtains for extra coziness. • Sleep in, recharge, and wake up refreshed. Nature & Night Sky Magic If you’re lucky, you might catch a glimpse of the northern lights (no discounts if you don’t! 😉) or spot the local foxes that call this area home. Come escape, unwind, and create lasting memories in our nostalgic yet comfy cedar cabin. New to AirBnB or have few reviews? We may require proof of identity and brief trip details before accepting your booking. All guests must agree to follow house rules and respect our quiet neighborhood. Thanks for your understanding. Guest access You'll have the entire cabin to yourself during your stay. If you’d like to borrow outdoor games, bikes, or the canoe from the shed, please do so with care. The shed also stores tools, lawn equipment, and materials for a future bathroom renovation. For your safety, wear shoes when entering the shed, take only what you need, and avoid moving other stored items. • Parking: Please park in our driveway on the south side of the cabin, under the willow tree. • Firewood: We provide enough for a small fire. Bring your own firewood for the firepit. • Bikes: We don’t provide kids’ bikes, but you’re welcome to use the adult bikes in the shed. Enjoy your stay!
