Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. The space Welcome to an Icelandic horse farm. You're staying in a tipi tent. We use solar lights, candles, and battery-powered lamps to illuminate the area in a natural, calming way. Outside there is a dining table for 4 people and an outdoor kitchen. You can grill or cook at the fireplace. For the hard-boiled ones among you, there is also a cold shower that is fed via a water tank. The water temperature depends on the weather. In the summer it is a great refreshment, after a long hike. There is access to a shared toilet with washing facilities in the main house of the horse farm, about 120 meters away. Please note there is no Wi-Fi on the premises. If you have additional wishes or ideas, I am here for you. The outdoor kitchen is equipped with the following utensils: Camping stove Cookware Salt Pepper Cutlery Guest access The horse boarding area can and may only be entered with us, as the Icelandic horse farm Fönixtal houses, among other things, boarding horses. It is not safe due to the animals and stables (electric fences) and is not insured. Guests must arrive in person!! Other things to note Whether you're here for a romantic getaway or family time, the horse farm is the perfect place to spend an unforgettable time. The overnight price includes: A convenient parking space is available to all guests; teepee tent; battery & solar lamps - lighting for the tent and the paths; outdoor seating area Cooking supplies - utensils, dishes and coffee/tea; barbecue & fireplace: for barbecues and cozy evenings; toiletries - toilet paper, soap and outdoor shower; portable cooler Off-grid discovery We work completely off-grid, which means that there is no electricity in the tents. The tent is equipped with battery-powered lamps, and we have also installed solar-powered lights along the paths. Don't forget to enjoy the night sky - it's perfect for stargazing! Breakfast & barbecue Start the day with a delicious breakfast or simply enjoy a delicious barbecue dish according to your ideas. A cooler with cooling batteries for your provisions can be provided if needed. Wood for fireplace & hearth Wood can be purchased on site or you are welcome to bring your own for the fireplace. Horseback riding & paddock Two spacious paddock spaces are not included in the overnight rate, but you can book them during your stay.
