The more than 400-year-old timber-framed granary - . . . relax on vacation! Nestled in mighty old oak timber! Our cozy granary was once used as a grain storage. This historic building, built in 1606, is more than 400 years old and is likely to be one of the oldest buildings in the South Heath! The attic is located on our former farm, in the old village of Nordburg and was converted into a vacation home in the 1970s, with great emphasis on the original The space building structure was laid. As a result, the ancient mighty oak truss beams can also be admired from the inside, which contributes to an extraordinary, rustically beautiful living feeling. The large window front on the ground floor lets a lot of light and "surroundings" into the interior. The house is very lovingly and fully furnished and has direct access to the terrace. Cozy, bright living room with complete fitted kitchen and dishwasher, 2 bedrooms. The access to the children's bedroom with the 3 single beds in the attic is via a rather steep pull-out ladder. Shower/toilet, satellite TV and free Wi-Fi, central heating, crib and grill are provided. Open kitchenette fully equipped with dishwasher, convection oven, ceramic hob, fridge/freezer. There is also a coffee maker, kettle and toaster. Children are always welcome and can spend time in the playhouse "Villa Kunterbunt," on the swing, the climbing tower with slide or in the sandbox. The well-kept courtyard with a playground and lawn is available to our guests. In the secluded garden you can watch the local birds and directly from the terrace, watch the starlings on the August evenings during the assembly flights to their sleeping trees. Only about 100 m away from the vacation home by the stream. Sheets and towels can be booked for a fee. Your dog, of course, too. Welcome to the southern Lüneburg Heath region. The small village of Nordburg has only about 150 inhabitants. The Celler Land is known for its well-developed hiking and cycling network through the varied meadow, forest and heath landscapes as well as along the Aller. The "Aller bike path" offers beautiful routes, especially for bicycle tourists. For an extensive stroll, you can drive to Celle (17 km) with its historic half-timbered old town. Other destinations include the famous monastery Wienhausen (6 km), Vogelpark Walsrode (70 km), Serengeti Park Hodenhagen (60 km), Hanover Zoo (50 km), Heidepark Soltau (75 km), Mühlenmuseum Gifhorn (30 km), Autostadt and Designer Outlet Wolfsburg (45 km) and the Lüneburger Heide.
