The house is built on the mountain and has a fantastic view of Järvsö village, the church tower, Järvsö hill and Ljusnan valley. You can enjoy the sunrise and vast nature in all seasons. The space There is a lot to see, do and discover in Järvsö – all year round. The house is only 300 meters from the six-chair lift on the southern side of the slope and thus close to the children's ski area at Bergshotellet. The slope has 23 descents, 9 lifts (including two six-seater lifts), two children's areas, five conveyor belts and a snow park. There are also cross-country ski trails near the southern ski area. Activities: In spring, summer and fall, you can ride fantastic downhill (Sweden's best!) right by the house (300 m). The children have several cycling areas to choose from nearby with pump tracks, dirt tracks and children's areas. Järvsö offers magical trail cycling (paid trails) which is about 500 meters from the house. The trail cycling has its own technical area. There are also exercise tracks and hiking trails. Feel free to take a nice walk on the beautiful church island or go down to Stenegård. Järvsö offers several swimming areas such as Kyrkbybadet or why not go a little further to Orbaden's nice sandy beaches (Hälsingland's Riviera) Just behind the house is Via Ferrata for climbing up the mountain with a harness. Vildriket wildlife park is also an experience for both children and adults, if you are lucky you can see wolves, lynxes, reindeer, bears and owls. You can also paddle, take day trips, hike up the mountain or go up Järvsö hill with its nature reserve that you can see from the house. In winter, you can go cross-country skiing or ice skating in the ice rink. The active can play Padel in summer and winter. Culture: At Stenegård, there is much to experience. It is a cultural heritage where there is everything from theater experiences, concerts, unique crafts, Lill Bab's museum and the children's Stenegård Fäbodvallen: A living mountain pasture in Järvsö. Cozy excursion destination for both large and small with free grazing animals, café, alpine products and cultural events. Food and drink: There is a good selection of restaurants and cafés in Järvsö, several of them are on the ski slopes (Restaurang Sydsidan, Bergshotellet, Creperian, Nomad Burgers, Köttboden and more). At about 1 kilometer away, you will find both Järvsö Station and a well-stocked ICA, for those who want to cook for themselves. Nearby ICA is also Lill-Babs Caffär, which has good lunches and very good coffee bread.
