GR.Westside Family Retreat - A/C Near Downtown

Best for Families with babies and small kiddos, international travelers, Artprizers, friends' weekends! My house is cozy & loved - your space is the whole top floor w/ toys, games, & great yard for kids, and free parking. 7min to Monroe20/VanAndel, Devos, and 30 to the beach! Enjoy being near the fun + highways + the quiet/safety of a family neighborhood. Note: we live separately, in basement (which is the only LEGAL way in GR) and do keep some of our things in the fridge/pantry. The space Our Retreat is built around Connection. You’ll have the main floor of my house (upstairs only)! Your space has been lived and laughed in by my 2 sons and I - which will be evident by our photos on the walls, and a few things in the refrigerator/pantry. We want to share our home with nice people, and give area advice, as if they’re friends, but you have a completely separate space and do not have to meet us. We live in the apartment downstairs and share the yard, when we are in town. This space is perfect for families who don't want to travel with all the kid stuff, especially for babies—I have a packNplay, toys, booster, etc.; I have a ton more to share--monitor, toddler stand, etc., if you ask! You'll have a complete kitchen with cooking/baking tools, spices, oils, and lots of games to enjoy connecting with your family over the extra large family table--board games and cards, plus Wii Sports and Mario Kart! *Laundry is in our space, but I’m happy to do 1 load for free, or give you access, if we’re in town. *Definitely feel free to ask questions about longer stays than the Calendar implies. Guest access The upstairs will be privately yours—the door to our space remains locked during your stay. You have a TV with Roku included with Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ ; the bathroom is fully stocked with the things you need, and also things you may have forgotten. We live downstairs so unless we are traveling, you will likely hear us—and we are in the back yard a lot—so consider that before booking. We love to socialize and meet new people, but we respect that not everyone does. Other things to note I'd like to note that I understand Airbnb highly promotes responding within the hour - sometimes I will be able to do that, sometimes I will not --I will definitely try my very best to navigate your needs thoroughly, but as a single parent of 2 littles, I really try to be present and mostly disconnected when I'm hanging with them, so if that will be an issue for you, this is probably not the home for you.
