Hi! My name is Cindy Lester. My husband, Jerry and I recently built this beautiful getaway, between White Pine & Dandridge, Tennessee. We absolutely love the area and the fact that it’s very private. My favorite thing about this location is that you can have it all! We are located right by Douglas Lake, where you and your family can have a fun day on the water, but we are also close to Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. The space Visit our Tennessee Douglas Lake Cabins! Are you looking for an escape from life's hectic pace? We have the perfect getaway for you! This cozy lake cabin is a brand new construction and is waiting for you! We recently built a beautiful duplex lake cabin that offers you TWO cabins to choose from! Our larger cabin, "LURED AWAY" accommodates a larger group, while our smaller cabin, "LAKE ESCAPE" accommodates couples or small families. The GREAT THING about this is being able to offer two separate spaces, to two different groups, while also having the availability to offer BOTH cabins, to larger groups. It's great to travel and vacation with friends and family but it's also great to have your own space and alone-time, if you want. We have connecting doors within the cabins that have a double layer of privacy. We also have sound proof walls between the two spaces. This was designed especially to be what you want and need to make your vacation ideal. We are located at Douglas Lake in the White Pine/ Dandridge, Tennessee area. Our property offers direct lake access that is great for boating, fishing, etc. During the warm months, Douglas Lake is kept at full lake capacity and is a fantastic place to enjoy the warm sun and water. The lake level is dropped a little during the cooler months but it's still an awesome place, to try out your favorite bait, to catch a BIG ONE! We offer a relaxing environment where you can enjoy some downtime and privacy. Our cabin has a large wrap around porch, where you can sit and soak up the peace and quiet. Our porches have enough space to play a good game of corn hole, if you feel like having a little fun. Having a huge covered porch is also a great advantage, if you experience a little rain during your stay. On a cool evening, we invite you to sit back and admire our outdoor firepit area, where you can build your favorite type of delicious SMORES....yummmmm!! If you're interested in visiting near-by attractions, you can hop in your car and visit the Sevierville/ Pigeon Forge / Dollywood / Gatlinburg areas, all in about 30-55 minutes, depending on traffic. If you're a casino lover, the Hard Rock Casino in Bristol, Tennessee and Harrah's Cherokee Casino in Cherokee, North Carolina are about an hour to an hour and a half away. If you're interested in visiting Knoxville, for a day at the Knoxville Zoo, or just a fun day of shopping, you can be there in about 30 minutes, too. If you enjoy trapshooting, you definitely need to check out our neighbors at Hog Heaven Gun Club. They are located only about a half mile from our cabin. Guest access We have two units: Lured Away (accommodates up to 8 people) and Lake Escape (accommodates couples or groups up to 6 people). We can accommodate up to 14 people if both units are booked. Other things to note Requests to bring a pet will be considered. A pet cleaning fee of $50 per stay will be charged.
