A spacious living and dining room is at your disposal and offers numerous cosy places to really enjoy yourself. The open and well-equipped kitchen invites you to prepare delicious fish dishes or other dishes in a convivial atmosphere. Arrive and feel good with all your senses, this is possible here. The cottage can accommodate up to 8 people (max. 10 people) Treat yourself to relaxation here and recharge your batteries for many days of the year. In the evening you can make yourself comfortable in the party room with a glass of wine overlooking the fjord. Many well-marked hiking trails in the surrounding mountains and valleys invite you to hike in untouched nature. From Sunndal, 10 km from the holiday home, you can reach the glacier gate of the Folgefonn Glacier via adventurous paths. Those interested in fishing will find a salmon river 200 meters away with good stocks of salmon and sea trout. A wide variety of fish can be caught in the Hardangerfjord, such as: cod, pollack, mackerel, plaice, ling, monkfish and salmon. Fishing in the Hardangerfjord is a great experience even for beginners. In Norway you do not need a fishing license in the fjord. The nearest larger towns are Rosendal, approx. 14 km away and Odda, approx. 23 km away. There you will find supermarkets, sports shops, restaurants and boutiques. In the surrounding area you can visit sights such as the Barony of Rosendal, a small romantic castle, the Ænes Church, the Fureberg waterfall, the Kaiser Wilhelm Steig and much more. Some very large fish, weighing over 10 kg, are sometimes caught in the fjord. Along with your travel documents, you will receive a sketch describing the best fishing spots and fishing tips.
