The Deckhouse Cabin with Wood Fired Hot Tub

Quirky wooden cabin for two adults at Middle Stone Farm Glamping in West Somerset. Heated by a wood burner the cabin is warm and cosy throughout the year. A rural countryside eco-escape with original artwork, modern and vintage finds. Situated on a 30 acre working farm with animals. The Swedish wood fired hot tub is an optional extra and not included in the rent, hire prices are in the description. (Hot Tub hire must be paid 24hrs before check in) The space Timber framed quirky cabin at Middle Stone Farm Glamping with wooden white washed walls and floorboards, rustic bits & pieces and lovely farm views with friendly animals and open farmland. The bedroom has a king size wooden bed and a view out over fields. There's an open plan kitchen and sitting room - the kitchen has a mini hob/oven, small fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, cafetiere etc. There's a comfy sofa and wall hung TV. A digital detox, but there's there's a 4G/5G signal outside, fine for checking emails etc. The space is heated by an efficient wood stove, logs and kindling for heating the cabin are provided. In the private enclosed garden, there's a firepit style barbecue, a large wood fired hot tub (additional fee), garden furniture, a few apple trees and the hammock is out from April to September. Views from the garden are across open farmland with grazing sheep. The cabin has its own private Swedish wood fired hot tub. Hot Tub hire is £70 for two nights, £100 for four nights, £120 for 5 nights. Please note the hot tub is wood fired and will be cold when you arrive with a supply of wood to heat the water yourselves unless you've paid for a hot tub pre heat on top of the hire. The hot tub is large so it takes a good 3hrs in the summer to heat up, longer in the winter (4-5hrs!) as there's a lot of water to heat! Once the tub is hot, it will stay warm for the following day. A hot tub pre heat is £29 if you want us to heat the water for you, so it's steaming hot when you arrive. We really recommend you ask us to heat the water for you if you're staying here in the winter. If you're staying in the winter, we'll ask you for a rough ETA as we'll light the cabin stove for your arrival so it's warm and welcoming when you arrive. The cabin is not overlooked, but you'll see us around the farm feeding animals etc. We have a glamping site at MIddle Stone Farm, there are safari lodges in a neighbouring field. We offer self check in, all the access information will be sent to you. There are car charging facilities if you need them. Please do not use sockets in the cabin to try and charge a car, this is not safe. Strictly no smoking inside the cabin or around the hot tub and farm animals please. If you wish to smoke, please wander up the drive and dispose of cigarette buts carefully, thank you. Sorry but strictly no dogs or any pets in the cabin please. The cabin is close to farm animals - lambs in the spring, chickens and there are farm dogs around the place too. Plus we keep the cabin pet free so it's suitable for guests with allergies. We do however have three dog friendly safari lodges which are open in the summer, so if you want to stay on our farm with a dog, go for one of those instead. Guest access Check in is from 4pm, I will have sent you directions and parking instructions a couple of days before you arrive. No access to the farm before 4pm please. We offer self check in, all the access info and details of where to park will be sent in a personal email to you a few days before you arrive. If you need them sooner, do please ask. If you wish to hire the hot tub, please let us know at least 24hrs before check in, payment for hot tub hire is via Airbnb and must also be 24hrs before check in, thank you. Other things to note Strictly no smoking or vaping in or around the cabin. Parking for 1 car. The cabin is suitable for two adults sharing the king size bed. No dogs or pets. Sorry! Breakfast hampers, cakes and homemade food are available to pre order. You'll find food options and prices on our website for Middle Stone Farm. Our farm shop is from April to October. This is a quiet chilled kind of place, not suitable for loud music etc. We don't allow any music outside, sorry. Come to enjoy the birdsong, bats and owls at night!
