Description
Escape to the heart of the Welsh countryside at Pontygwaith Farm. Nestled within 40 acres of beautiful landscapes, our six charming cottages each have their own private garden — perfect for romantic getaways, hiking adventures, wild swimming, and cycling. Ideally located near BikePark Wales, Zip World, Brecon, Cardiff, Pontypridd, and a variety of restaurants, Pontygwaith Farm offers the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. The space Each stable has one bedroom that can provide two single or one double bed with bedside tables and touch lamps which have USB charge points. Bedding is always freshly laundered. Please ask the host's whether you require singles or a double bed. The bathrooms are tastefully designed and provide a walk in shower, sink and loo. Towels are provided. The open plan sitting room/kitchen provides a comfortable space to chill and watch TV or make use of the modern kitchen which provides an oven and hob, microwave, kettle & toaster, small fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine that uses pods - some pods are provided as well as sugar, milk and a selection of tea bags. The kitchen has a wide range of utensils, cutlery, crockery, mugs and glasses and also tea towels, kitchen roll and washing up liquid. OUTSIDE We are directly on the Taff Trail and next to the iconic Pontygwaith Bridge!! To the rear of each stable there's an enclosed private garden with countryside views . Each garden has a retractable clothes line, bistro table & chairs and a water hose. Parking is to the front and rear of the stables. Just a few steps from the stables there's what we refer to as the 'Farm Shop' which sells fresh eggs and our own organic honey. In the farm shop you'll find a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer which carry a small charge of £2.50 per cycle. Guest access Guests have access to most areas of the farm surrounding the stables including fields, lake and river. There are private areas which are clearly marked with signs.
