In the heart of the Cerrado, just 1h15 from BH Shopping, we created a place to take a deep breath, slow down and connect with nature. Simple, cozy and full of personality, the Barn was dreamed up by two women from Minas Gerais, wow 🔺, who love nature and the beauties of the universe in its infinite possibilities. Here, time passes slowly, the sky fills with stars, and silence is lulled by the sounds of nature, providing an authentic experience of connection with the environment. The barn runs 100% on solar energy and has great quality Wi-Fi, ideal for those who need to work, but seek a lighter environment, away from the hustle and bustle of the big city — although the invitation to disconnect is also always present. The cell phone signal is good, with proper 4G operation. The heating of the shower is gas, and the house lights are powered by solar energy. As the system has limited capacity, it is ideal for charging cell phones and low-voltage appliances, and the use of high-power items such as hair dryers and air fryers is not allowed. We adopt practices of conscious use of water, fundamental in an area of preserved nature. For greater convenience, we provide a clay filter, ensuring water that is always fresh and filtered. The bedroom features a charming queen-size bed, providing comfort for rest. We provide full bed linens and towels, so you don't need to bring them. The kitchen is simple and functional, equipped with a minibar and two-burner stove with an oven, ideal for practical meals. For those who like to enjoy the outdoors, we also provide a barbecue grill. Another highlight is the fire pit, a special space for a bonfire, perfect for cozy moments around the fire. Because we are in the midst of nature, it is essential to use it responsibly, keeping the fire always under control and completely extinguished at the end of use. We have adopted an ecological septic tank, reducing environmental impact and respecting the balance of the Cerrado. Access is approximately 12 km from downtown Rio Acima, 8 km by dirt road. The road is accessible to any vehicle, but requires extra attention in rainy periods. Take it easy, everything will be fine. Come and live this experience. WHAT WE OFFER IN THE BARN Infusion tub 🛁 The Oceleiro has an old-style infusion bathtub for two people. It is not a whirlpool, the proposal is simple and integrated into the environment. Although we are in a region surrounded by waterfalls, the water in the city is limited and unstable. That's why we consciously use resources here. The bathtub can be used once a day. We only ask for your attention to responsible use, so that the experience can continue to be offered to everyone. Other things to note Before you book, it is worth knowing: Our cabin is in the middle of the bush, surrounded by the Cerrado Mineiro, ideal for those who want to disconnect a little from the rush and enjoy the quiet of nature. The access is by dirt road (8 km), but it is quiet and accessible for any type of car — you only need to drive calmly and carefully, especially in the rainy season. We are 12 km from the city center, so come prepared with groceries and everything you need, because there is no trade nearby (no neighbors, only the birds!). Oh, and there's no delivery here — it's you, nature and whatever you bring in the suitcase. It has a cellular signal from the main operators (Claro, Vivo and Tim) and the 4G works well. Our energy is solar, for basic equipment, but it is worth remembering that here the focus is to slow down, enjoy the landscape, the starry sky and the sound of nature. The space's proposal is to provide a deceleration experience and contact with nature, not being suitable for guests seeking an urban comfort standard, continuous services or typical urban environment infrastructure. The atmosphere is simple, rustic and subject to natural variations, such as the presence of animals, climatic variations and sounds of the local fauna.
