The other three units are numbered 1747, 1749, and 1753, and all are on annual leases with long term tenants. So we try to foster a community vibe. There’s a small front yard that’s primarily used by the front units and a back patio with a beach mural that’s available to all units. Guest access Guests have two parking spaces behind the building that are tandem, meaning one behind the other. The small laundry room is off the carport in a locked closet and is shared between 1749, 1751 and 1753. Guests will have a key to the (free!) laundry room and are asked to be considerate and cooperative with the other users to avoid “laundry jams.” Other things to note The sleeper sofa in living room can be easily reconfigured as needed. It’s made up of six ottomans with removable lids, where you’ll find extra throws and bedding. Although some of the black metal connectors are missing, simply pull them up to detach the ottomans from each other, if you like. This way you can move the individual ottomans as needed, create a standard couch where your feet hit the floor. Or create any combination of chair seats and chaise lounges. There’s a hand-held vacuum with a USB charger for clean-ups. It takes a few hours to charge up (on any of the bedside tables), and gives you 15-20 minutes of use. The box and accessories are in the lower rear kitchen cabinet that faces the dining table. Le Gout, the cafe at corner of Hollywood and Kenmore, is a great place for breakfast, lunch and coffee at reasonable prices.
