This is a charming and quirky house perched on the Mendip Hills, overlooking the Somerset levels and also views across to Wales. With parking for three cars, well appointed kitchen with Nespresso machine, leather sofas, smart tv and broadband, this three double bedroomed house lets you unwind and enjoy life. There’s a lovely cosy village pub just down the hill and the Mendip Way footpath is just yards from the house. There is plenty of garden space. The space The rooms are all tastefully furnished with quality furniture and beds. We have tried to provide a comfortable and homely place with all the things you would expect. Bedding is all of excellent quality - cotton sheets and duvets, sumptuous pillows and mattresses that are deep and comfy! All bedrooms have blackout blinds and the downstairs bedrooms have rollers blinds - voile and blackout, also with traditional curtains. Bedroom three is accessed via a staircase and has the benefit of the whole upstairs area. The room has sloping ceilings and exposed timbers. Headroom is limited. There is a new TV in the living room and enough seats for 6 people to either watch TV or simply relax. Take advantage of the traditional village pub or simply have a peaceful walk along the Mendip Way - enjoying the views across the Somerset levels and beyond to Devon and Wales - on a clear day. There is parking at the property for up to three cars. Nearby Weston has plenty to occupy and further afield there are Glastonbury, Wells, Bristol and Taunton and Bath - all reached by either good A roads or Motorways. Guest access The only spaces not available are locked - store/ utility rooms. Other things to note As noted in the descriptions elsewhere, please do not put anything down the toilets - like face wipes/tissues etc - as we are on septic tank drainage and we don’t want to have a blockage! Please note that the driveway can accommodate two cars in front of the garage but some guests have found the incline difficult to negotiate. A third parking place is beside the wall and road but a car will partially be in the road. There are steps to access the property.
