The Huntly Hut

Take it easy at this rustic and tranquil getaway. You can wander the Huntly Food Forest or watch the cattle and horses graze. Huntly is close to Pilliga state forest and Kaputar National park for awesome natural experiences. Located not far from the confluence of Maules Creek and Namoi River, we have lots of birds and prime Ag land. Be active or relaxed as you like but note this is a working farm so dogs barking, dust rising and people laughing could be likely! The space “Huntly” is a working cattle farm including a milking cow, working dogs (and some lay about dogs) and horses. The farm is on the banks of Maules Creek and includes a Food Forest. We produce much of our own meat, milk, eggs, fruit and veggies. The sunsets in the northwest are spectacular. At times it can be very dry, but that is part of life on the land. Guest access Guests have full access the Huntly Hut. This includes a bedroom, kitchenette, small bathroom and deck overlooking the farm. You can use the garage and EV charger for an extra donation. Other things to note It is a working farm so there could be noises, smells, temperatures, animals and insects you are not used to. This is part of the experience and we will do what we can to ensure your comfort but this is a rustic Aussie experience. Registration details PID-STRA-72862
