The Annexe, in East Grinstead

Relax and enjoy this calm and peaceful cabin home. Set in a leafy, tranquil garden and surrounded by mature trees, this is a truly restful place to stay. The Annexe is tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished. Located on the outskirts of the historic market town of East Grinstead and a 20 minute walk from the mainline station, it is also less than 30 minutes drive from the M25 motorway. The space The Annexe is a small self-contained house located in the garden of our family home. The front door opens into an open-plan living/dining/kitchen area. In the living area there is a 2-seater sofa, an armchair and the TV has freesat. There is a dining table with 2 chairs, and the kitchen has a fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, washing machine. There is no dishwasher. There is one bedroom with a double bed, dressing table, mirror, coat-rack and shoe rack. The bedside table has drawer space. The bathroom contains a toilet, sink, bathroom cabinet and electric shower, plus a heated towel-rail. Another door leads to the utility room, for hot-water boiler and router. There is a clothes rail, small set of 3 drawers, iron/ironing/board, spare towels/bedding, spare toilet roll. First aid kit. Directly outside the Annexe there is a small seating area with a table and 2 chairs. Guest access Guests have access to the Annexe and the seating area directly opposite. Access to the Annexe is a shared path at the side of the house. Please be aware that is a family garden and while we will try to minimise disturbing you, you may see us walking past to access the outbuildings and the end of the garden. Other things to note The Annexe is not suited to anyone with mobility issues. The route to the annex is a brick garden path and is sloping with steps. It may become slippery, particularly after rain. Whilst there is outdoor security lighting, the route to the Annexe may be quite dark at night therefore guests are advised to bring a torch and take extra care. We have parking available on our drive for 1 car. Please note that we cannot accommodate large vehicles such as vans, commercial vehicles, campervans etc. If in doubt, please contact us for clarification.
