Your stay also gives you sole access to the cute and very popular Hobbit Lodge for your sole use to cook up a storm, no matter the weather. Set in a private meadow on the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall, it makes a great place to escape for some fresh air and relaxation. The space... Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall, this retreat is the ultimate off-grid glamping getaway. Unwind, relax and spoil yourselves in this unique place that combines being in nature whilst enjoying some luxury. In addition to this, it's in a great location to use as a base to explore the surrounding areas, amazing beaches and coves etc. The hut itself is home to a luxurious, king-size four poster bed with storage below. The shower room has a hot power shower, flushing toilet and complimentary toiletries, and a small kitchenette with fridge, double gas hob and all cooking utensils, pots, pans, kettle. For chilly evenings, a wood burning stove will keep you toastie with complimentary logs provided. Next to the hut is a romantic wood-fired hot tub for two (Optional extra). Sip your favourite tipple whilst listening out for the Tawny Owls and star gaze to your heart's content. In addition to the shepherds hut, the Hobbit-style barbecue lodge is a complimentary extra, provided for your private use, to cook up a storm, no matter the weather; or you might fancy toasting marshmallows, using the fire pit outside. Plenty of choice! After a day of exploring the surrounding area, you may choose to laze on the double hammock before dinner, listening to the gentle flowing creek, or relax and read a book in the swinging chair in the wooded area or simply listen to the bird song and cows and sheep in nearby fields. If you're lucky, you may spot the small family of deer that occasionally visit the meadow, the local heron, ducks with ducklings or a Kingfisher or two! Although this retreat is off-grid, you wouldn't know it, with fresh running water, a large hot shower, flushing toilet and wi-fi, all run from a hidden array of solar panels, with the fresh filtered water supply from the borehole. Additional Information: Sorry, no children or infants. Please note, two small well behaved dogs welcome for a small additional charge. Wood-fired hot tub is available to guests for a small additional charge of £75 should you wish to add it on to the stay. The hot tub can be heated for arrival on request. IMPORTANT - Please note that as the hut is off grid, charging phones and laptops etc will work fine. However, high wattage appliances will not work, e.g. hair dryers, straighteners, plug-in kettles, toasters, irons and heaters. Towels, robes and complementary toiletries included. Outside... Private meadow setting in nearly an acre, double hammock, hanging chair, picnic bench with seating. Two ponds and a private creek flowing by. Wood-fired hot tub, available to book for an additional charge of £75. This can be heated for arrival on request. Hobbit style barbecue hut, outdoor fire pit with log seating. Other things to note If you wish to include the use of the hot tub, this has to be requested a minimum of 48hrs prior to arrival. Thel cost for use of the hot tub for the duration of your stay is £75 and includes; Pre-heating for your arrival, robes and face masks for that spa like experience.
