Located halfway between Sydney and Byron Bay in a beautiful, subtropical valley on the NSW mid-north coast, The Retreat @ Silky Oaks is surrounded by national parks, beaches and waterfalls. The space Stepping stones lead you from your car space, past the lily pond, to your own private entrance. The open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining space opens onto a picturesque patio with a BBQ, outdoor dining table and firepit (wood supplied). The kitchen is equipped with stove-top, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, toaster, sandwich press, juicer and pod coffee machine and plunger (coffee supplied for both appliances). The spacious, white-washed bedroom contains a queen-sized bed, comfortable seating and TV (with Netflix). Enjoy breakfast supplies of fresh eggs, bread, fruit, preserves and homemade chocolate chip cookies. Pick fruit straight from the orchard for the freshest breakfast juice you’ve ever tasted (seasonal), or add fresh herbs to your eggs from the garden right outside your door. For those looking to explore, a quirky map of the property guides you along a grassy path leading to a pebbly creek and to a mini waterfall. Workout in a spacious well-equipped on-site gym with treadmill, rower, free and machine weights and yoga space. Our two friendly horses, Mojo and Bibi, love to meet guests and will happily munch on a carrot or two over the fence. Two split-system air-conditioners ensure ‘The Retreat’ is comfy year round. Set back from the road, The Retreat @ Silky Oaks is a picturesque, 10-minute drive from the highway on a sealed road. Guest access Guests are free to wander among the gardens and enjoy the many outdoor seating spaces. The pool and gym are shared spaces, guests will usually enjoy these areas to themselves.
