Fantastic modern light and airy house for up to 9 on idyllic historic estate "Alvasjön" in the middle of the forest next to Sweden's largest private lake. Surrounded by one of Sweden's most beautiful nature reserves and best sport fishing areas. Fantastic swimming, walking, cycling, canoeing and blueberry picking and mushrooming in a serene and beautiful environment. Use (at own risk) of boats, canoes and mountain bikes. Get the kids away from their phones and tablets and out on adventures! The space Large airy open plan house in the middle of the forest next to a lake with beautiful views. Extremely well appointed kitchen with induction hob, large fridge freezer, oven, microwave and stereo. The sitting room, kitchen and dining area are open plan with a large open fireplace at the centre, high ceiling and double doors leading onto a large deck with a table and chairs, some sun loungers and stunning views of the forest and lake. Three bedrooms downstairs - two twins with 2 x 90cm beds and one double with a 180cm bed. Upstairs is a sleeping loft with 3 x 90cm beds. Guest access We have good quality mountain bikes for most ages (two baby seats and a tag along or two), canoes, three rowing boats, life jackets and SUPs that you can borrow at your own risk. In the summer there is a diving platform set off the beach which the children love. There is also a traditional Swedish wood fired sauna on the beach which you are welcome to fire up. Fishing rods are available to rent or buy locally and there are pike and perch in the lake. Other things to note It's sensible to wear long sleeved clothes if you are picking blueberries or doing anything where you are moving very slowly in the forest. There are mosquitoes, ticks and midges around at certain times of year.
