Welcome to our stunning 3-story house in the heart of Sunnmøre, Norway—a perfect retreat for nature lovers, outdoor enthusiasts, and those seeking a serene escape. Our spacious home comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests across 4 bedrooms, making it ideal for families, groups of friends, or anyone looking to explore the beauty of Norway. It's a 5 min walk to the best beach in Stranda with BBQs, grass and tables. The town of Stranda is 5 mins by car, and the ski resort, 15 mins. The space Bedrooms: Our home features 4 cozy bedrooms: 3 with comfortable double beds and 1 with two single beds, ensuring a restful sleep for everyone. High-quality bedding and linens are provided. Living area: Relax in the spacious living area with large windows that offer breathtaking views of the fjords. It’s a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring, with comfortable seating and a welcoming atmosphere. Work-friendly: For those needing to stay connected, we offer high-speed WiFi and desks for a convenient work-from-home setup. Kitchen: The large, fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare and enjoy meals, including modern appliances, cookware, and a dining area. A BBQ is also available for outdoor cooking enthusiasts. Garden: Enjoy the beautiful, private garden where you can relax, have a BBQ, or simply take in the stunning fjord views. Parking: Garage parking for one car, level space for additional cars. Location: Our home is ideally located to make the most of Sunnmøre’s natural beauty and outdoor activities: Beach: Just a 5-minute walk to a beautiful beach on the fjord, complete with a lawn and BBQ areas—perfect for a family picnic or a swim in the cold, clear waters. Stranda Ski Resort (Strandafjellen): A quick 15-minute drive will take you to the ski resort, renowned for its fantastic skiing and snowboarding conditions. Activities: This area is a haven for nature lovers, offering activities like skiing, hiking, cycling, climbing and more. The surrounding fjords provide a stunning backdrop for all your adventures. Getting Here: Airport: We are located about an hour and a half by car from the nearest airport in Ålesund. Public transport: There is a bus service from Ålesund to Stranda that takes around 3 hours, however there is no public transport for the last few kilometres to the house. You would need to order a taxi. Whether you’re seeking adventure or relaxation, our beautiful house in Stranda is the perfect base for your Norwegian getaway. We look forward to welcoming you and making your stay memorable! Guest access You will have full access to the entire house and garden. We will provide a code to the front door smart lock. You simply walk in and make yourself at home. We have a couple of locked storerooms for our personal property and spare items for the house. Please respect those.
