Mountaintop sunset retreat

Come relax in this mountain top paradise. Sunset and seasonal 180° mountain views. Located at the top of a private gravel road, this cabin makes you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, but is only 10 min drive to the shops and restaurants in Clayton & Dillard. Black Rock Mountain State Park is a few minutes' drive directly south. Also near Tallulah Gorge State Park, the Chattooga River, Lakes Rabun and Burton, and western NC (Franklin & Highlands). One hour to Great Smokey Mountains NP. The space Guests have use of the entire 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house. Downstairs is a gorgeous living room with cathedral ceilings and a wood burning fireplace, a fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances and extendable table, two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a washer and dryer. A screened porch with a wooden bench swing and large extendable dining table runs the entire length of the house facing the mountains. A gas grill is on the small back deck. Upstairs is one bedroom and bathroom next to a spacious loft that can function as a fourth bedroom, complete with a twin day bed and trundle bed and an electric stand/sit desk to work at comfortably. The loft has sliding glass doors leading to a second-story balcony - the perfect place to the watch sunset. There is a tri-fold full mattress and air mattress available for use. Outside on the beautiful rolling property are two fire pits, another bench swing, and a carport! There is plenty of room for parking multiple cars in the gravel driveway as well. A large dog bed by the fireplace and food/water bowls are waiting to make your canine companion comfortable. Other things to note Schedule is only opened 6-9 months in advance - please feel free to inquire if dates further out are needed. Rentals for 30 days or more only.
