Welcome to our traditional Norwegian cabin—a cozy retreat by the sea with four bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, and bathroom. Surrounded by a garden and 40 meters of private coastline, it offers stunning views and a small harbor for swimming, fishing, or boating. Explore nearby islands, beaches, and nature—just 20 minutes from Stavanger. The space The cabin features four bedrooms: • Bedroom 1: 1× queen-size bed • Bedroom 2: 1× queen-size bed • Bedroom 3: 1× queen-size bed and 1× narrow single bed • Bedroom 4: 2× single bed The cabin can accommodate up to 9 guests, but this is the absolute maximum and works best for families or groups comfortable sharing bedrooms and double beds. The common areas—such as the sofa, dining table, and living room—are best suited for groups of 5 - 6 people. All bedrooms are equipped with electric heating and curtains to ensure a comfortable stay. Downstairs, you'll find a compact bathroom with a toilet, shower, and washing machine. The kitchen is fully equipped to Norwegian standards, including a fridge, sink, stove, oven, and dishwasher. The living room offers a cozy seating area with a sofa, a fireplace, and a dining space. For added comfort, the room is fitted with a heat pump/air conditioner. Firewood is available upon request for an additional fee. Enjoy stunning sea views from both the house and the balcony. The peaceful garden is perfect for unwinding, and the harbor accommodates one boat (please note: not suitable for sailboats due to shallow depth). Guest access You have access to the entire property, with the exception of a few locked closets. Other things to note This cabin is nearly 100 years old and offers a unique glimpse into traditional Norwegian coastal living. While it has been modernized to provide comfort and convenience, it still retains the charm and character of an older building. We happily allow guests to bring dogs, and many visitors do. Because of this, the cabin may not be suitable for people with dog allergies. Please note that this is a privately owned cabin—not a professionally staffed hotel. We take great care to prepare the space and ensure it is nice and welcoming. The atmosphere here is personal, relaxed, and authentic—perfect for guests who appreciate simplicity, nature, and the slower pace of cabin life by the sea.
