The space Welcome to The Grey Cottage, a charming and recently renovated Snowy Mountains retreat, nestled on the high side of Ryan Street with a sunny north-easterly aspect. This cozy cottage features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a comfortable lounge, a dining area, and a modern kitchen with Bosch appliances, including a washing machine and dishwasher. Enjoy the fresh mountain air on either of the two outdoor decks, and take advantage of ample parking space. We provide all linens—sheets, doonas, pillows, towels, and tea towels—so you can settle in stress-free. An iron and ironing board are also available for use during your stay. Perfect for a peaceful getaway or exploring the beauty of Talbingo and its surroundings. Please note, the cottage is not suitable for pets, and smoking is not permitted. Guest access The entire cottage is included during your stay, meaning you are not sharing with others. Other things to note Please note, there is currently no Wi-Fi at our cottage and phone coverage is extremely limited once you enter Talbingo, particularly for Optus and Vodafone customers. At the current time Telstra (and companies owned by Telstra) seem to have the strongest service across Talbingo. Talbingo has a small store located on Lampe Street called the Trading Post, which sells both warm and cold beverages (coffee, tea, hot chocolate and milkshakes), bread, freshly baked goods, local produce and hot foods. Limited snacks and essential items can also be found here. A service station can be found on Miles Franklin Drive as you enter the town center of Talbingo. Fuel is available at all times for customers paying with card. Talbingo also has a Country Club with a golf course, tennis courts, a restaurant that serves an Asian cuisine, and all the usual facilities offered within a Licensed Club. The closet major town is Tumut, located 40 kilometers from Talbingo, which offers larger supermarkets, including Coles, Woolworths, bakery's, chemists, butchers, bottle shops, restaurant's, fast food outlets, an Olympic swimming pool, hospital and medical centers.
