Our lovely gingerbread wooden house and charming, vintage-style Kuckó apartment are located in Szattán, a small, one-street village surrounded by forests in the Őrség. The village and the garden are an island of tranquility. Car traffic and signal strength are weak. The accommodations are garden-facing, separated by a screen built from old doors. The plot is completely fenced, and by going out the small gate at the end of the garden, we find ourselves in the forest in a few minutes. From the enclosed parking lot, we reach the accommodation on an illuminated, gravel road. The space From the covered terrace of the wooden house, we enter the ground floor airspace. Here you will find the self-catering kitchen, the bathroom with a window shower and toilet, the dining area and the double canopy bed. The wooden staircase leads up to the attic, where there are 3 adult single beds and a cot. Guests can place their clothes in small furniture (chest of drawers, shelf element, coat rack). There's no closet in the house, because there's no need for nice clothes here. In winter, we welcome guests with a heated house. This is also loved by bats, who are co-tenants in the cracks of the beams from spring to autumn. Guest access 5000 sqm garden is available to guests. Comfort is provided by hammocks and sun loungers. Tools and firewood are provided for your own garden barbecue. For active outdoor recreation, a basket of games (badminton, frisbee, ball) is prepared. Other things to note Although we live on the property, our private garden and apartment are completely separated from the guest rooms. Guests can also request homemade breakfast, which will be served at the accommodation at a pre-arranged time. Small attentions for guests: unlimited coffee, tea, umbrella, shoehorn, fly swatter, hairdryer. The nearest shopping and dining option is in Őriszentpéter (8 km). Within about half an hour by car, there are several natural bathing lakes, wellness centers, equestrian sports, open-air museums, hiking trails.
