Cozy Walser house – 5 min to the train station

In the middle of the mountains and yet only 1 hour from Zurich. Grüsch train station is a 5-minute walk away. Highway 7 minutes. Starting point for wonderful hikes, bike trails, skiing, paragliding, etc. Child-friendly, small ski resort Grüsch Danusa. Supermarkets and shopping nearby. The spa towns of Klosters and Davos with large ski areas are easily accessible. Also the wellness resort of Bad Ragaz with spa, and more. The capital of Chur is 20 minutes away by car or train. The space You stay in an old, comfortably furnished Walser house with lots of wood, creaking floors and charm. There are 6 beds with comfort mattresses. A sunny and completely private garden courtyard invites you to eat al fresco and sunbathe. Lounge chairs, a dining table, sun loungers and a parasol are provided. On the first floor, there is a narrow, covered arbor with evening sun and relax lounger. In the living room there is an extendable table that offers plenty of space to eat, a pull-out lounger, a large flat screen TV with over 1000 channels, Netflix and Spotify, stereo and TV Relax armchairs. In the kitchen there are crockery and cutlery for 6 people as well as dishwasher, fridge, induction cooker, oven, steam extractor, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, boom box, hand and dish towels, dishwashing detergent and so on. There is space for eating in the kitchen for 4 to 5 people. The kitchen and living room are on the ground floor, bedrooms 1 and 2 are on the first floor, the bathroom and bedroom 3 are on the garden floor. The two stairs are short but a little steep - not optimal for people with reduced mobility. In the south bedroom there are 3 beds, a work table with office chair, and a sitting area with upholstered chairs. The beds are equipped with duvets, spare blankets, large and small pillows as well as spare bedding. Large and small terry towels are also present. The tiled stove is no longer in operation, instead the heat comes from modern, easily adjustable, electric wall heaters. A washing machine and a broom vacuum cleaner are also provided. The adjacent house half is inhabited by a generally rather quiet family.
