Designed for families and groups of friends, it combines spacious, stylish interiors with unique architectural features. Each floor of the turret houses a surprise bonus room, creating fun and memorable spaces for guests to enjoy. Gathering & Living Spaces: The open-plan living and dining area is perfect for socialising, with plenty of seating around the long table for large groups. The handcrafted kitchen is fully equipped as is ideal for cooking together. If you would prefer to take time off from cooking, we can recommend local private chefs to provide an incredible dining experience. The dedicated media room on the ground floor is a wonderful spot to watch movies together or challenge a friend to beat your score on the retro arcade machine. Upstairs, guests will find a further living space complete with comfortable sofas, a log burner, TV, and a separate bar area; all benefiting from panoramic sea views from the turret. Bedrooms & Bathrooms: Six beautifully appointed bedrooms provide comfort and privacy. Each has been designed with high-quality furnishings and linens, ensuring restful nights after a day exploring the coast. With five contemporary bathrooms, all renovated to a very high specification, there’s space for everyone to refresh and relax. Outdoor Spaces & Amenities: Step outside to a spacious patio with a hot tub, sauna, and garden seating for relaxing and unwinding. The outdoor area is designed for entertaining, with space for al fresco dining, evening drinks, and sunset gatherings. Sea glimpses and Totland Bay sunsets make this the perfect setting for memorable nights under the stars. Location & Experiences: A short stroll from Totland Bay’s stunning shoreline and just minutes from renowned restaurant The Hut in neighbouring Colwell Bay, Glencaple Tower is perfectly positioned for exploring the West Wight coastline, known for its beaches, sailing, and scenic coastal walks. Guests can explore nearby Yarmouth, Freshwater Bay, and the iconic Needles, all within a short drive, making this an ideal Isle of Wight base for discovery and relaxation. Perfect for Large Groups: With space for up to 12 guests, Glencaple Tower is designed to make group holidays, milestone celebrations, and multi-family getaways easy and memorable. Luxury amenities, stylish interiors, and unique architectural features ensure a coastal escape unlike any other on the Isle of Wight. Bedroom Configuration: Bedroom 1: King-sized suite with en-suite featuring a large walk-in shower and double wash basin. Bedroom 2: Stylish king-sized room with four-poster bed. Bedroom 3: Twin room with two single beds. (A large family bathroom serves Bedrooms 2 & 3, featuring both a bath and separate shower.) Bedroom 4: The crowning jewel of Glencaple Tower! A breathtaking master suite with super king-sized bed, dressing room, and en-suite shower room with views extending to the sea. The third-floor turret adjoins and houses a spectacular soaker bathtub, offering a secluded spa-like escape. Bedroom 5: King-sized room with both a king bed and an additional single bed. Bedroom 6: Cosy retreat with a 4 ft small double bed. (Another generous family bathroom serves Bedrooms 5 & 6, featuring both a bath and separate shower.) Parking & Practicalities: With parking for three large vehicles and an electric charging station, Glencaple Tower is as practical as it is luxurious. For additional cars, guests can use free on-street parking nearby. Travelling without a car? A reliable local taxi firm and regular bus service connect Totland Bay with Yarmouth, Cowes, and the rest of the island. A Note on Occupancy: In line with health and safety requirements, the maximum occupancy is 12 guests (including children) plus one infant sleeping in a travel cot. Guest access We invite guests to use the whole property and grounds. We simply ask that guests do not attempt to enter the exterior shed which will be kept locked as it houses the relevant cleaning materials for the hot tub. Other things to note To maintain the peaceful and family-friendly nature of Glencaple Tower, we regret that we are unable to accommodate stag or hen parties. Our home is best suited for families, couples, and groups looking to enjoy a relaxing stay on the Island. Glencaple Tower is a strictly no-parties, no-events property. While time to gather and reconnect with family is welcome and encouraged, the house is not suitable for gatherings involving external entertainment or services, including DJs, sound or lighting equipment, or any unauthorised entertainers, caterers, or visitors not included in the booking, even during the daytime. This rule is in place to protect what is a much loved family home and out of respect for our neighbours. DOGS: Regrettably we are not able to accept pets at this property. Please note any breach of this will incur a fine FERRYS: We are able to provide up to a 35% discount with Wightlink and between a 15-20% discount with Red Funnel. We ask that guests contact us once their booking is secured, stating which ferry service they wish to use. HOT TUB & SAUNA OFF SEASON: During off season (November-March inclusive, excl holidays) the hot tub will only be available as an option extra at £150 per stay. Exclusions include the following for 2025-2026: -Christmas '25 and New Year - 23rd Dec to 2nd Jan inclusive. -February half term: 14th-22nd Feb '26 inclusive -Early Easter Holidays: 28th-31st March '26 inclusive -Christmas '26 and New Year 22nd Dec-2nd Jan inclusive Quiet hours: Guest must note that quiet hours are in place 11pm-7am out of courtesy for our lovely neighbours. Cleaning and Consideration: We kindly ask that guests leave the property in the condition they would hope to find it. This is a much-loved home, not just a holiday rental. Any extra cleaning or excessive rubbish removal may incur additional charges, so we really appreciate your care and consideration. We ask that both the BBQ and Log Burner are returned to a clean condition if used. Failure to do so may incur additional cleaning charges. Guests with Limited Mobility: Due to the 5 steps down to the property entrance and then accommodation being arranged over 3 floors, Glencaple Tower may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility
