A vibrant cottage, full of memories and wonderful stories. A sofa with a bit of history, mismatched dishes… but a cozy atmosphere where you really feel at home. 🌲 The key is elsewhere Enjoying nature, getting away from everyday life, laughing over a meal, making memories… that’s exactly what this chalet offers you. If you are looking for a cozy, authentic place that is perfect for gatherings with family or friends, this is the right place for you. 💛 The cottage has 3 bedrooms, all attached to a bathroom. Bedroom 1 (basement): 1 queen bed, 2 single beds (bunk). Attached to a bathroom with bathtub. Bedroom 2 (upstairs): a queen bed, a double sofa bed, a baby bed. Office space. Attached to bathroom with shower. Bedroom 3 (upstairs): one queen bed, one double sofa bed. Office space. Attached to bathroom with shower. Limit of 8 adults, contact us to accommodate larger groups. A laundry room is present in the basement but locked because in need of renovation/redevelopment. The key can be provided if needed for longer stays. **The windows in the upstairs bathrooms are not to be opened** Other things to note Do not attempt to make a fire in the indoor fireplace, the roof outlet is currently blocked, you could put yourself in danger. As part of an energy saving effort, the chalet participates in the Hilo challenges. It is possible that an event will occur during your stay. At these times, Hydro-Québec remotely reduces the temperature of the thermostats that switch to "eco" mode. It is important not to touch the thermostats during these periods, but the chalet has a good thermal inertia, and be sure that we will limit the drop in temperature during these episodes to 3 degrees to preserve your comfort. The laundry room requires work, it will be closed unless you specify that you need access to it. Please keep children away and empty the dryer filter well after each load if you request access. The stairs are very stable but do not have a handrail, it is important to be vigilant during the first climbs/descents in order to get used to them (our children aged 3 and 5 climb and descend them alone without any problems). NON-SMOKING CHALET Waste: - do not place waste around the trash and recycling bins. If they are full, please take the extra bags with you to prevent them from being scattered by the many animals that inhabit the territory near the reserve. - please do not leave any waste on the grounds - any cigarette butt found on the floor after your stay will automatically and systematically be charged at $50 each. This cottage regularly welcomes young children, their health and safety are not negotiable, nor is respect for the environment and the many animals that inhabit the surrounding forest.
