Leave your worries behind and enjoying the serene sounds of nature as you escape into a peaceful and relaxing oasis. Watch nature come to life in the spring with our resident woodchuck who likes to sunbathe on the deck, listen to the birds, crickets and geese as you enjoy the private lake view. The space The cabin has 1 full bed, perfect for 1-2 guests. Fully functional kitchen appliances for all of your cooking needs while visiting which include a full fridge with top freezer, small dishwasher and sink, a full oven with steam options, a microwave and a 1 burner hot plate for stove top cooking as well as, a propane grill on the patio. *Note* There is not a standard stove top as many guests enjoy grilling outside. Bathrooms include 1 full bathroom with a shower with bathtub. Comes with all of the necessary essentials: Clean towels, blow dryer, travel size shampoo/conditioner, bar soap in the event you forget to bring your own. Guests must agree to abide by our HOA rules and regulations and agree to our release of liability agreement which will be provided upon confirmed booking. While we hope that our cabin can provide a place to disconnect and relax from the stress of the world, we do provide satellite internet and there is cellphone service in the area. There is 1 TV in the main living space with access to Netflix, youtube, amazon prime which you can access via your own login information if desired. Weather is seasonal and includes various unpredictable winter storms, rainy season with strong winds and possible tornados. We recommend monitoring the weather as well as, obtaining your personal "Travel Insurance" in the event the weather impedes on your stay. As a host, we cannot make guarantees regarding weather and in unforeseen circumstances, we cannot refund you your money back. We hope you understand. NOTE: Mother nature is fully alive at this property and our guests share space with the wildlife, critters and creatures who live among the lake front. Woodchucks, deer, raccoons, possums and squirrels are all known to frequent the property. It's also important to note that it is inevitable that spiders, bugs including stink bugs, fireflies, lady bugs, as well as others live here too. We do our absolute best to keep them outdoors and despite our best efforts, there are times when they navigate indoors. We ask that you help too by keeping the doors closed behind you. Guest access Guests will have access to all areas of the main living space, on level 1, of the cabin both indoors and outdoors. Outdoor propane grill and fire pit available for use. There is a wood pile next to the fire pit outside with free firewood available out back. (Please abide by our HOA's fire safety rules outlined under rules) Please Note: There are a few areas that are actively being renovated, between guests such as, the loft upstairs and unfortunately the deck which is needing boards and paint replaced this year. We have placed signs identifying the areas that are not accessible at this time. We have a strong no parties policy due to an abundance of respect for our neighbors, HOA, as well as, our insurance policy. We hope our guests will assist us in maintaining a peaceful and enjoyable community for all during their stay. Any undisclosed parties are subject to deposit forfeiture or cancellation of the booking without refund. Absolutely NO SMOKING or VAPING indoors. Other things to note The space is TINY. While we would love to accommodate everyone, our space is simply TINY and with pose difficulty for those with mobility issues or special needs maneuvering around small spaces. For example, our hallways and door frames are less than the standard 32 inch of homes. Our bathtub is also smaller than standard size.
