The space About the space Enjoy a quiet, fully private lower-level suite in Richmond Hill with a separate entrance and self-check-in. The entire suite is reserved exclusively for guests and includes a bedroom, living room, full kitchen, private bathroom, dedicated workspace, private washer-dryer combo, and free parking. Bedroom The comfortable bedroom includes quality bedding, a window for natural light and ventilation, a workspace, a wardrobe, and a luggage rack. Living room Relax on the sofa bed and enjoy the TV, books, board games, and comfortable lighting. The room also has a window for fresh-air circulation. Bathroom The private bathroom is supplied with towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shower caps, and a hairdryer. Kitchen The full kitchen is equipped for preparing everyday meals, making it convenient for both short visits and extended stays. Laundry A private in-suite washer-dryer combo is provided, along with an iron, ironing board, and drying rack. Outdoor area and cats The backyard is shared with the hosts. Two friendly cats live upstairs and may occasionally be seen in the backyard, but they never enter the guest suite. Location Richmond Green Sports Centre and Park is within walking distance and offers walking trails, sports facilities, and picnic areas. Nearby plazas provide a wide range of restaurants, cafés, pharmacies, and everyday services, including Starbucks, Tim Hortons, Subway, and Chatime. Highway 404 is about a 3-minute drive away, with convenient access to Highway 407, Markham, Richmond Hill, and the Greater Toronto Area. Several bus stops are also within a short walk, providing connections throughout Richmond Hill and to GO Transit. Please note The suite is located beneath our family living area. Although it is completely private with a separate entrance, occasional normal household sounds may be heard during the daytime. We observe quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and make every effort to provide a peaceful stay. Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere inside the suite. If you wish to smoke tobacco or cannabis, please use an outdoor open area away from doors and windows, and dispose of all waste safely. Welcome drinks and snacks are provided upon arrival and are not replenished during the stay. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the entire lower-level suite, including the bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom, workspace, and private in-suite washer-dryer combo. No indoor areas are shared with the hosts. The backyard is a shared outdoor space used by both guests and the host’s family. Check-in and check-out Standard check-in is from 3:00 p.m., and check-out is by 11:00 a.m. Early check-in or late check-out is available only with prior host approval and depends on the cleaning schedule. Same-day requests may not be accommodated. Unauthorized late check-out may result in a fee of CAD 50 for each additional 30 minutes. Occupancy The suite is best suited for two guests. The bedroom has one queen-size bed, and the living room includes a sofa bed. A third guest may be accepted only with prior host approval. Please contact us before booking or before making any changes to the number of guests. If approved, the reservation must be updated through Airbnb, and an additional fee of CAD 60 per night will apply. Other things to note Our Commitment to Cleanliness We take great care to provide every guest with a clean, comfortable and well-prepared space. Fresh linens and towels After each stay, all used bed linens and bathroom towels are removed and replaced with freshly laundered items for the next guest. Thorough turnover cleaning Before every check-in, the suite is carefully cleaned and reset. Frequently touched surfaces, the kitchen, bathroom, floors and guest-use areas are cleaned with appropriate household cleaning products. Bed sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases and towels are washed using detergent and dried thoroughly before being returned to the suite. We aim to maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness so that every guest can settle in with confidence and comfort.
