Hot Spring Haven: Quiet and Cozy

Our guesthouse is a perfect way to experience quintessential Iceland. Wake up and enjoy coffee watching the steam from the nearby geothermal mountain or cook up breakfast in the full kitchen. Work remotely (2.5 gb/s wifi) or plan your day's expedition from the workspace. Stroll into charming Hveragerði for cafes and local treats, or hike to the breathtaking Reykjadalur hot springs. Just 35 minutes to Reykjavík. Ideal for couples, small families, or solo travelers seeking a cozy nordic stay. The space We have very fast wifi with great signal - the router is in the unit and has a base speed of 1 gbps (symmetrical both upload and download). Our internet can handle multiple simultaneous video calls. We have an upgraded geothermal heat exchanger installed - which means that our hot water and the shower water does not smell like sulfur. The bed is queen size (160 cm), medium firm mattress, and the sofa bed is a double (120 cm), firm mattress. Tea and coffee are available. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed to cook for the family. There are plenty of hiking paths right outside the house, as well as a soccer field, public BBQ and a playground. There is a nice view from the window that looks out over a neighborhood to the nearby mountains with geothermal steam coming off of them. Size of the apartment: 48 m2. Guest access The whole place is yours to enjoy - nothing to share. The north-facing yard (the one facing the mountain!) is also available for your enjoyment.
