For operational purposes, the laundry area remains reserved for property maintenance staff. Other things to note 🌴 Nature Setting Finca Serena is surrounded by beautiful forest life 🌳 — you might see insects, lizards, iguanas, or hear the famous Coquí 🐸 at night (they’re harmless and part of our ecosystem 💚). Please keep doors closed and avoid using bug spray on them. 💦 At Finca Serena, our water comes from a natural spring and is very clean and clear. For extra comfort and peace of mind, we suggest using bottled water for drinking and cooking. 🍃 Respect Nature Please don’t pick fruits or plants 🌺 — let nature thrive! 🦟 Stay Comfy Bring insect repellent and any allergy meds if needed. 🥾 Walk Safely The ground can get muddy when it rains — wear closed shoes and walk carefully. 🔥 Comfort & Convenience You’ll always have hot water and a working stove thanks to our gas system 💧🍳 — even if power goes out. Utuado’s mild weather (60–75°F) makes it the perfect place to relax 😌🌤️ 🚗 We recommend renting a car so you can explore the island freely and at your own pace 🚗✨ Public transportation and Uber don’t reach the mountainous areas 🌄. No worries though—a 4x4 isn’t needed to get to Finca Serena, as the roads are paved and in great condition 😊🛣️ 🐈 Please note that Finca Serena is an ecological property, and it’s common in the mountains of Puerto Rico to see friendly stray cats, occasionally with kittens. We care for them and keep food available. They are gentle and affectionate, and guests who enjoy animals are welcome to interact with them.
