Welcome to an apartment with all the comforts you want in a home away from home. The space Lower floor includes a spacious hallway with floor heating and a guest bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen with a kitchenette for four adults and one high chair. Double refrigerator, sandwich grill, toaster, coffee maker, waffle iron, kettle, mixer, dishwasher, hand mixer and enough tableware for adults and children, even toddlers. A cozy living room with an Apple TV that includes Simann Premium, Stöð2+, Netflix, and Disney+. Exit from the living room to the balcony. The balcony has a large outdoor barbecue and a small dining area. A spacious dining room and a small children's play corner and toys are by the stairs that go up to the second floor. Upper floor There's a hallway with four rooms. Three bedrooms (guests only have access to two bedrooms) and one bathroom. There is also a steep staircase that goes up to an attic that is used as a storage space and is therefore not included in the rental. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, washing machine and dryer and views of the city and Esjuna. The master bedroom has an electric room with two 90x200 mattresses, a TV with all major stations, views and blackout curtains. It can be useful to lean into the window and watch the view just before you go to bed to watch your favorite show. A coat hanger to hang in the closet and a hook on the wall to hang clothes. The guest bedroom has a 120x200 sofa bed with a mattress topper, office and exercise facilities, and blackout curtains. There you can also lean into the window sill, open the skylight well and watch the life and existence in the street or the stars and the moon in the sky. Please note, if desired, a sleeping area can be provided on an 80x200 mattress next to a sofa bed. Please note that all rooms on the upper floor are partially under a roof with skylights. Child locks can be installed if needed. Guest access Please note that the children's room and the giant are NOT in the rental. Guests have access to the rest of the apartment. Guests also have access to the shared garden out door to the house. Other things to note Worth noting: There's a big traffic street near the master bedroom. There is a steep ladder to the loft which is unprotected if people are traveling with young children but naturally try to put something before or in the ladder to inhibit access upon request. The children's bedroom and the attic are not included in the rent. Services There are a plethora of restaurants within walking distance, including the Cape food court. There is a sporting goods store, clinic, pet store and pharmacy too. Across the street a 30 second walk away is Subway, Local, the iconic Icelandic Skyrbar and gas station which sells basic groceries and dropp pick up among others. Otherwise there is also a large supermarket 10 minutes walk away, as well as a bakery, bank, pharmacy, Jysk and a furniture and thrift store. Meatcomis a 10 minute walk away. There, you'll get first-class ingredients made by chefs. Getting around It is possible to get around the whole city by bus which stops either right outside the home or a 3 minute walk. The bus website will assist you in finding your way from A - B. Entertainment Walking distance is the Árbær Museum, Elliðarárdalur and a cafe.
