Welcome to Your Peaceful Vermont Retreat This charming 1880s home offers the perfect balance of cozy comfort and tranquil workspaces for professionals, educators, outdoor enthusiasts and creatives. Located in the heart of Brandon, Vermont, and just a short distance from Middlebury College, Killington Ski Resort, and two Hospitals. Our home is ideal for those visiting the area for business, study, outdoor activities, antiqing or relaxation. The space What We Offer: Private, Peaceful Bedrooms: Rest well in our spacious bedrooms featuring high ceilings and organic cotton sheets. Work-Friendly Space: A quiet environment with plenty of room for work, creativity, and study. Take advantage of high-speed Wi-Fi and a comfortable work area. Outdoor Relaxation: Enjoy the fresh Vermont air from one of our two decks, or relax in the hammock in our spacious yard, offering the perfect place for unwinding after a productive day. Convenient Location: Within walking distance to downtown Brandon, and a short drive to the nearby colleges and hospitals —perfect for academics, visiting faculty, or anyone seeking peace while still being close to local educational hubs. Great area for biking, kayaking and swimming in clean lakes. Music in town in a variety of places as well as fine dining. Our home is warm and inviting, with wood floor, tall ceilings and natural light throughout. Annie's artwork is for sale in the front hallway. Whether you’re here for a short stay or a longer retreat, you’ll find both solitude and comfort in our spacious home. Guest access You will have the entire second floor to yourself. During your stay I am always available for any questions you may have. If you do not want to interact with me, that's o.k., your space is totally private. I live on the first floor and am respectful of your privacy. I offer vegetarian/vegan meals, art classes and massage for additional fees upon request. Other things to note The upstairs fridge can be used for beverages or snacks. There are several restaurants within a 2 minute walk to town and a wonderful French bakery! In Vermont it is mandatory that we recycle and compost, you will find receptacles for this upstairs. Washer/Dryer is not available to guests unless staying for a week or more.
