Lavender Lodge is a cute and cosy cottage, perfectly situated in Bourton on the Water. Often referred to as the ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’ due to the pretty stone bridges arching over the river Windrush. Lavender Lodge is located in a peaceful lane, a 2 minute walk from the centre. With parking at the property, 2 double bedrooms, both with stunning en-suite bathrooms, Lavender Lodge is a versatile holiday home suited to families, friends or an indulgent couples retreat. The space Bedroom 1 is on the ground floor and has French doors leading to the sunny garden area equipped with furniture for alfresco dining and relaxation after a day of sightseeing. The bedroom has a sumptuous king sized sleigh bed and is equipped and furnished to a luxurious standard with quality furnishings and a TV. The en-suite bathroom has a walk in shower, heated towel rail and illuminated mirror. Bedroom 2 upstairs has zip and link beds to allow for the flexibility of configuring the room as a twin or king. There is a luxurious en-suite bathroom with roll top bath, heated towel rail and illuminated mirror. The living room is at the front of the house with views out to a quiet Cotswold lane with open countryside nearby. It’s the perfect place to relax with leather sofas, poufs, coffee table and TV with Netflix all centred around a beautiful limestone fireplace with electric stove style fire. The kitchen is well equipped with an integrated dishwasher, fridge, washing machine, oven and hob, nespresso coffee machine and a small dining table for 4 guests. Lavender Lodge has full WIFI, a picnic hamper for guests to use during their stay, a range of board games and guides on local walks and things to do. Outside there is the added benefit of a private drive way for one car- please note that the driveway is narrow and may not be suitable for some larger cars. There is off road parking between specific times.
