Hidden Gem in the South Downs

In the heart of the South Downs, this Pool House is a tranquil getaway from city life. With a pool (heated mid April - September), outdoors kitchen (BBQ & pizza oven), fire pit and situated within a beautiful rural garden overlooking "the Hangers", this is a truly breath-taking getaway. Walks abound in every direction through ancient woodland and small-holding livestock farmland. The space Renovated in 2023, the Pool House is modern, warm and has all the essentials, as well as some luxuries. With huge glass doors, the afternoon sun pours into the sitting area, making a very warm and inviting place to relax and rejuvenate. There is a master bedroom for 2 with a super-king bed. A very comfortable fold out queen sized sofa-bed is available if required. There is also a mezzanine available with 2 beds appropriate for children who are at least 10yrs. It is accessible by a ladder and overlooks the whole space. There is a well appointed bathroom, with terracotta tiles and powerful shower. There's a complete kitchen with country style kitchen table and a modern TV. Outside, a separate entrance from the parking leads into the pool area, which is a sun-trap on a nice day. The pool itself is heated from May-September, and offers a cold dip from October-March for those brave enough. Sun beds, cushions and other pool furniture are all available. Around the side, and overlooking "the Hangers" is the outdoors kitchen. With a Portico BBQ, a large pizza oven and sink, it's an outdoor cook's dream. Next to the kitchen is a spot for evening drinks and a fire pit where you can watch the sun set over the hills and feel a thousand miles away. Guest access Guests can use the pool area, the outdoors kitchen and garden area if they would like.
