The Wee Flat above the Bookshop

A beautiful, peaceful 2 bedroom flat above a thriving independent bookshop and coffee shop. Centrally located in Dollar . Cosy and stylish with modern comforts. Relax upstairs or in the walled courtyard garden or browse downstairs. Live luxuriously above the books and let your stay be as unforgettable as the stories you’ll discover. Each guest will receive complimentary coffee when they pop down to the bookshop. Bespoke Reading Retreats are also offered. The space Cosy lounge with comfy seating and a wood burning stove and plenty of books to browse from. A sunny bright open plan kitchen area with fabulous views over the hills and including an induction hob (moka coffee pot and milk frother), oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, fridge with small freezer drawer and washing machine. All with beautiful crockery, glasses and cooking utensils. Island stools and a small dining table and bench . USB sockets throughout. Two generous bedrooms each with king size beds, simba mattresses, down duvets and quality linen bedding. Black out blinds and curtains in each with full length mirrors, storage and hanging space and beautiful views. Tranquil bathroom with freestanding bath and walk in shower and underfloor heating. Guests are welcome to use the outdoor courtyard garden and cafe space. Guest access The flat has its own gate and front door and is accessed by 1 flight of external stairs . Other things to note The flat is located on the main street of a small town and first floor and accessed by steps. There is some road noise and street lighting in the front bedroom . We have blackout linings on the curtains ( but earplugs may be needed if you are used to rural living) . The rear bedroom is very quiet . The flat is not suitable or equipped for small children. There is free street parking outside or around the village. The bookshop is open 9.30-5.30 weekdays 9.30-4 Saturday and 10-4 Sunday with coffee last orders an hour before closing. There is a cleaner in the shop downstairs after hours until 6pm or sometimes from 7am. Occasionally we have author events in the bookshop on weeknights until 9pm - please check our website at weebookshop co uk for information. No smoking, vaping, parties or pets.
