The Hemingway on Church is located just one block west of Highland Drive (main street) and two blocks south of the American Club. Church Street House - Romance & Retreats and The Hemingway on Church are just four houses away from my South Road-Foursomes & Families, and 4 blocks away from Washington Walk Historic House and The Loft on Washington. With five choices, planning a large group get together is easy and fun. GREAT PLACES TO EAT: My local restaurant favorites are Blackwolf Run and Whistling Straits Club Houses. Great prices for lunch, high cuisine for dinner. The fish fry at Blackwolf on Friday night is great (I prefer the lake perch over the cod), reservations recommended. The Green House in The American Club is great for coffee/breakfast pastries, desserts and ice cream. The charming, antique solarium was meticulously transported from Chorley Lancashire, then reassembled in the Fountain Courtyard of The American Club to serve as a delightful garden café. The Hemingway on Church is in compliance and licensed by the WI Department of Health, Sheboygan County and the Village of Kohler for short term rentals including six day or less stays.
