The Little Piece

COLDER WEATHER NOTE: As we get into the winter months, we’d just like to note that The Little Piece is not centrally heated. We’ve provided three ceramic pedestal heaters to keep it nice & toasty, but something to bear in mind when considering our property. A tranquil & self-contained fully renovated static caravan, clad with recycled wood and set in the grounds of our home on Romney Marsh, The Little Piece is the perfect retreat to de-stress from city life or simply get some peace and sea air. The space Located a short distance from Hythe or Dymchurch beachfronts, and only a 20 min drive to the gorgeous Folkestone Creative Quarter and Harbour Arm. Surrounded by fields and wildlife, there are no neighbours nearby (other than Lympne Castle & Safari Park on the hill above, if you're lucky enough to hear the lions!) Despite this seclusion it’s also only a 15 min drive to the Eurotunnel. Beautiful walks can be found all over the Marsh and surrounding area, and the fantastic Unit 1 canal-side micro-pub is within walking distance. As above, Lympne Castle and Safari Park are both very close by and provide a great day out for the family. The castle also has a beautiful terrace to sit and enjoy a drink with panoramic views. Guest access The Little Piece is entirely yours, set within it’s own courtyard and far enough from our home to feel completely secluded. If you’re keen on eating outside, it has a large table and chairs and a gas BBQ. The kitchen is fully stocked and has a four-ring electric cooker and oven. There’s a DVD player with a huge library of DVD’s, for both kids & adults to enjoy, and books, board games & playing cards are provided! There is no wifi but the whole area has good 4G/5G coverage. With one master bedroom (with full size double bed & ensuite toilet) and a second bedroom with two Small Single beds (2.5ft x 6ft), it’s set up to accommodate couples or families. We’re also happy to welcome well behaved dogs with the proviso that they stay within the courtyard of the property and are on a lead at all other times. There is roadside parking in a private layby directly beside the gate to the property. Please note, The Little Piece is surrounded by a water dyke. Even though it is very difficult to access due to the foliage we encourage people to be aware of it, especially those with small children.
