Vacation apartment in the chalet in Brienz/Axalp

The apartment is located on the Axalp above Brienz at 1550 m above sea level in a beautiful chalet with four apartments and in a quiet location on the ground floor. The Axalp is best reached by car! The apartment has 1 bedroom, a 2nd bedroom is closed and cannot be booked, a living room with a Swedish stove and a cozy sitting area with a TV. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, sink and toilet. There is also an outdoor seating area. The space The apartment is suitable for a maximum of 4 people (including children) and is on the ground floor. There is an outdoor seating area, kitchen, living room, toilet/shower and 1 bedroom as well as underfloor heating in all rooms, free Wi-Fi. In the bedroom there is a double bunk bed (180 x 200 cm) with 4 sleeping places, a wooden shelf, a wardrobe and family and board games. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, sink and toilet. Bath towels are available in sufficient quantity (including replacements) and do not have to be brought along. The kitchen is also well equipped and has a stove and oven. Sufficient dishes and cutlery, pans, kettle, microwave, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine (Nespresso capsules must be brought along). Fondue dishes and a raclette oven are also provided. Spices, salt, pepper, vinegar and oil are available and may be used. Kitchen towels are available. In the living room there is a dining table with four chairs and a spacious, cozy seating area with Samsung cable TV and a few books. The quiet location characterizes the area. In summer and autumn, you will find a beautiful hiking area in the stunning nature and mountains overlooking the turquoise Lake Brienz. In winter, you can strap on your skis right next to the apartment and go. The Axalp ski resort is very popular with families with children because of its clarity and size. The Axalp is part of the Magic Pass network and the Axalp sports tracks have summer and winter operations for guests. More information on the Axalp website. Guest access The entire apartment and the outdoor area with table and bench, umbrella and two sun loungers are available. In the apartment entrance there is a wardrobe with 2 cabinets and a shoe rack. A private parking space is reserved in the underground garage for the apartment. Guests have access to a key box and can arrive and depart independently. The apartment is located in a building complex. The parking garage can be reached via the underground garage (access directly from Axalpstrasse). The parking lot is on the upper floor at the entrance, 3rd parking space on the left, No. 17, marked "Di Franco." In front of the garage there is a key safe, also marked "Di Franco". Code will be provided upon confirmation. Thus, access to the apartment and garage is possible independently at any time. One floor below the apartment is the heated ski room, where you can deposit hiking boots, hiking equipment, skis, ski boots, sleds, etc. There is a ping pong table in the common room in the basement. Other things to note The Axalp is located at 1550 meters above sea level and is accessible via a mountain road in approx. 25 minutes' drive from Brienz. It is located in the mountains, so winter break-ins are also to be expected in spring and autumn. In the off-season, it is quiet on the Axalp, the small shopping store is partially closed. You must therefore bring all food yourself. In Brienz, 20 km away, you will find all the important shops such as (Migros, Coop, Steininger bakery, drugstore, post office and bank) as well as other shopping opportunities in Meiringen and Interlaken. We can recommend the Spycher-Beizli at 2000 m above sea level and the Bergbeiz Hilten at around 1700 m above sea level as well as the Axalpstübli. Halfway up the Axalp, you will find the Bramisegg restaurant, with excellent local cuisine. In Brienz we can recommend the restaurant Steinbock, the hotel Weisses Kreuz, Bino's Pizzeria or the restaurant Strandbad with a magnificent view over Lake Brienz. The Axalp can be reached by PostBus (3-4 trips per day) - the timetable can be viewed and queried on the SBB website. Summer/autumn activities: hiking, Schnitzlerweg, paragliding, biking, the chairlift takes you up to the Windegg, where you have a breathtaking view of Lake Brienz. Summer/autumn excursion destinations: Hinterburgseeli, Windegg, Axi-Pfad, Tschingel or Axalphorn, Brienz-Rothorn funicular, Lake Brienz boat trip, Giessbach waterfalls, Ballenberg open-air museum, Aare Gorge in Meiringen, Brienz Wildlife Park (free), Aare Gorge Meiringen, Hasliberg with Muggestutz children's hiking trail. Lake Brienz provides a cool down in summer. In winter you can strap on your skis right at your doorstep. The Axi-Land, where the Swiss Snow Sports School Axalp is located, is directly opposite the apartment. Skiing equipment can be rented in the sports shop on the Axalp. Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or sledding are also available as winter sports activities. To promote tourism in our region, a tourist tax per person per night must be paid.
